What can I say! We went as a group for our friends wedding! The wedding went beautifully! Staff went out of their way to make the whole wedding an amazing experience! This resort had delicious food, ...very friendly helpful staff, great entertainment, very clean spacious room! Will definitely go back again! Even fitness classes by NRG2GO kept me happy and busy! Listening to the waves on the beach was so peaceful. I was always able to get a chair by pool or beach switching back and forth through the day. The staff’s professionalism was everywhere. I always had great food in restaurants, by the pool and buffet. My favourite was the red velvet cake dessert at the buffet!

Guess service was great. They were very attentive and professional. All my needs were met. Just wanted to give a shout out to Cheryl Kate and Tina for some awesome exercise classes. These girls knew what ...they were doing..just shacking their money makers. I also attended a wedding at this resort, beautifully done. The ceremony was amazing, and the beach was to die for. Rooms are comfortable Very friendly atmosphere There is a market just minutes from the resort, safe to walk.

Just returned last week from Viva Azteca for a friends wedding. The wedding coordinator and staff went above and beyond to ensure their special day was beautiful and exactly what they wanted. The resort i...s the perfect size to give you an intimate feeling and ability to enjoy everything. The staff whether food services, bartenders, reception & concierge, entertainment, housekeeping or groundskeepers were so kind and professional. The wedding dinner at the Mexican a la carte restaurant was beyond amazing!! And you don't need reservations for the Mexican, Italian or Asian a la cartes. You also get access to their sister resort, Viva Maya for food, bars and entertainment and only a 5 minute walk. Local markets almost right across the street and 5th Avenue is close by as well. The grounds, beach and pool area is kept clean and beautiful. The food was awesome! A special shout out to Cheryl, Tina and Kate from NRG2GO for the Yoga, Zumba and Aqua fitness classes at the pool and beach areas. They bring so much energy and fun for the resort guests and love what they do. I've been back home less than a week and our group of beautiful Canadians are already planning a reunion next year! You won't be disappointed with a trip to Azteca!! Book now.

My husband and I had a fabulous week at the Azteca. The staff and service were so accommodating and always smiling especially the amazing entertainment team led by Giselle! I participated in the aqua and ...stretch classes by our fellows Canadians from NRGGO, Tina, Cheryl and Kate. We were there for my friends’ wedding which was simply stunning. They really did all go out at the resort. The four course dinner after was filling and delicious! Our room was right by the pool. Perfect spot! It was very hot and humid while we were there so guests should be aware there’s only air conditioning in the rooms. Didn’t bother me as I love the heat! Thanks to the Azteca gang for a memorable week !

My wife and I attended a destination wedding last week at Viva Azteca and it was fantastic. We loved the atmosphere of the resort as it was smaller and more intimate. The beach is very nice and the reso...rt is a great location within walking distance to Playa Del Carmen. The wedding coordinator did a great job and everything was very well organized and professionally done. The rooms were clean, food was good with lots of variety and the staff were all very friendly and work very hard. The guys played golf across the street and the girls enjoyed all of the activities at the resort, especially the yoga, zumba and aqua fitness classes with great professional instructors from NRG2GO. Everyone had such a great time we are already planning a reunion trip back there next year. I highly recommend this resort and look forward to returning.
