Excellent resort in Samara just outside the town of Samara . A 30-40 minute walk along the beach to town.

The hotel is excellent, clean and comfortable. There are 2 different accommodations. The newer hotel, Acura, is beautiful and spacious with very nice rooms. The villas hotel is attached but cottage/villas... buildings. These are more private and separate from the main hotel. The hotel is on the beach. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. This area is more peaceful and laidback than the busier areas like Tamarindo. The food is great in the buffets as well as the 3 other restaurants. Italian, Asian and Steak and seafood. The buffet staff was very attentive. Special thanks to Christian for his hospitality. He is a true professional. Wendy and Luc with the concierge service are very helpful to book tours and resolve room issues and booking the restaurant reservations. We highly recommend this hotel and the area. There are lots of tours to book from the hotel.

Azura is a quaint all inclusive resort on a beautiful property. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was great. Our room was clean, and it had a sweet little ocean view. The pool and beach w...ere never crowded. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing. Live music that keeped us company at dinner but didn’t drown out the dining experience. We had good experiences with all the employees we interacted with. Housekeeping, Room Service, Concierge, Gift Shop, Grounds Keeper, Maintenance, Kitchen Staff, Waitstaff, Bartenders, and Desk Staff were helpful and kind. We would definitely come back. We came for rest and relaxation, and that is what we got, and you will too. ENJOY!
