This Sandals is a real gem! One of my favorite vacays. The downside is it's not super close to the airport [I hour to get there from the airport but over two hours to get back to the airport...]. But it'...s well worth the trip. And at this Sandals or any in Jamaica, you should request Michael Brown as your driver- he's amazing. The upsides to this property are myriad- it's the prettiest Sandals I've seen- the landscaping is spectacular. And they have peacocks!! The staff is the usual Sandals awesome. Kind, helpful and friendly. It's leans to an older crowd and a pretty mellow place so make sure that's your vibe. We loved it for us. Not too crowded and really a nice feel. Food was really good and the service was amazing. Really tops. As for the rooms, we did an overwater bungalow which was AMAZING. I know it's $$$, but if you can do a butler room it's SO SO worth it. We had the fabulous Kim and Toni-Ann as our butlers and they continuously went above and beyond. They were the best. I went with my daughter and she really leaned into the whole butler experience :) and they were super attentive to her. The spa services were also amazing- I highly recommend the Raindrops Dream massage- my spa specialist was Tiona and she is a magician - she made all my aches go away! One note: They did have some unexpected emergency construction this week on the property which was not ideal and made some of our time in the over water bungalow less than relaxing... but after a few conversations with them, they made it up to us and all was well. I would go back here in a second- one of the best vacations ever!! And one of my favorite Sandals.

Stayed at Sandals South Coast from 3/5-3/8/2025. Our 4th time at this resort. Obviously we like it there. We stayed in a Rondoval for the first time. Accommodations were very nice. Our butlers Omar and Sha...neice were excellent and a shoutout to Al who helped out as well. We spent the early part of the day at the beach where we had a cooler full of refreshments and drinks. Butlers brought drinks and lunch when requested. We went back to room after lunch and enjoyed the plunge pool and lazy River. Service at bars and restaurants was uneven. Most was good, but service can be slow especially at Eleanor’s and Schooner’s for breakfast. A couple times the bartenders at Starlight Bar which is filling in while Latitudes is rebuilt avoided eye contact and served people who arrived after I had been waiting longer. The Starlight Bar is actually much roomier and provides a lot more seating options than Latitudes did. When we left on 3/19, Latitudes was completely torn down. Not sure when it will be rebuilt and reopened. Lunch was always brought to us by our butlers. We had mostly salads, a couple pizzas and chicken from Dipper’s. It was all good. Our favorite place for dinner is Giuseppe’s. Food is always good there. Food was generally good, but not great. Had steaks several times and while the taste was fine the meat was quite tough everywhere I ordered it. Desserts from Cafe de Paris were always delicious. We both had massages and they were great, but the spa is pricey. No complaints about the weather. It rained a couple times but only once did it really come down. For the second time there are room keys stopped working on the 7th day. We were there for 10. Not sure why this has happened the last 2 times. Overall, South Coast is a beautiful resort. Some of the restaurants could use some new furniture. They look kind of beat, especially Eleanor’s and Schooner’s. Returning guest dinner is always nice and the food was good. Diamond member lunch was excellent and food at that affair was the best we had during our stay. Next year we’re trying out Dunn’s River.
