Unskilled and unprofessional place to stay

Although the place was beautiful. The front desk receptions were very rude and lacking in communication skills. We also had to pay incidentals of 2000 Barbados dollars £7-800 which we were not aware of. This is an extortionate amount of money. So they put an authorised hold on your card and what you don’t use should be released at the end of your stay within 3-5 working days. It has now been almost 8 weeks and although investigated by both sides I still do not have my £540 back. They also billed 131 dollars more with no explanation. Crane have taken no responsibility for this and quite frankly do not care. I would visit Barbados again for the weather, the friendly people, the place. I would never stay at The Crane again and would not recommend anyone visiting to stay there.

Great location, beach is gorgeous as are the views over it. Room was great and very well equipped. The heritage pool overlooking the sea is charming. Downside for us was it felt like you could be at a Hilton resort anywhere in the world, architecturally it has a definite whiff of Disney complete with a Main Street ! Thought the breakfast was hugely overpriced for a bog standard buffet!
