The Banff Ptarmigan Inn is centrally located in Banff National Park only steps away from the downtown area. This mountain hotel is a great escape to the Canadian Rockies. On your vacation you can enjoy our mountain views, and numerous outdoor activities from hiking trails, canoe rides, and biking in the summer, skiing, skating, and snowshoeing in the winter. Pleasant Stay in Banff

This was the last hotel in our trek from Vancouver and having read some previous reviews we were a bit apprehensive. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The room we had was facing the side of the hot...el with a small balcony, staff were very friendly, and even allowed us a small overstay on our last day, and parking was free. Yes, room was darker than some but not a problem, and yes there is some train noise but surely most hotels in Banff must encounter this. Overall, very enjoyable stay, on Main Street, but just a short walk away from main area and restaurants and cafes nearby, and bus stops.

Lovely hotel in beautiful Banff. Room was large although a little dark. Two double beds, coffee machine. Bed and pillows comfortable. Small balcony with table and chairs. On site restaurant was tasty and g...ood value. Centrally located in Banff with beautiful mountain views.
