We visited Wyndham Alltra in early May of this year, and we found it a fantastic resort in a number of ways. Alltra has a nice location situated between the ocean and lagoon on a beautiful stretch of the C...ancun beach. The restaurants were all great, the Italian and buffet being the biggest standouts to us. The buffet was a great way to begin the day for breakfast. The two pools were very nice and, if you’re up for some fun during the day, the activities they provide were super enjoyable. (Only draw back was the size of the pools, which are a little small.) The biggest plus were the staff. Every one of the persons working at the Alltra were super helpful, kind, and gracious! I highly recommend the Wyndham Alltra as great place to stay and a good value.

This place charges extra for cabana canopy. There are way too many beach lounge hard to get around and you are literally next to the next person have no personal space. This place needs more umbrellas. I...f you are going to relax and just be in a quiet place I do not recommend this place.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However both Friday and Saturday night had weddings right out side of our room. We were practically in the wedding party we were so close, and both weddings obstruc...ted our view of the water. (We splurged for the beach walk out room with the private cabana so this was especially frustrating). The second wedding was so close that the bartending table was actually touching the our cabana. We had to be moved to a different cabana at the other end after complaining that we couldn't use ours. We booked massages for 3 on the beach 2 months prior to visiting, but the booking fell through. They were able to re book us, but we weren't able to get our beach massages like we had originally booked. Our patio would flood when the stairs next to our room were being washed down. Our excursion booking was supposed to be 5 hours but was 7 hours. Overall it was a pleasant stay, but for only staying 3 nights - there were a lot of inconveniences.
