We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and Valentines Day. My husband has been Diamond for many many years. No upgrade or even acknowledgment of his status throughout the stay. Breakfast buffet is supe...r crowded/long line to be seated. Better option is to order room service for breakfast. The Italian restaurant :La Lucile was great, Ivan Medina stepped up and made a WONDERFUL dinner for my husband’s birthday. The steakhouse was very disappointing. Food was not good at all and service was equally as bad. Beer is only draft unless you pay for Enclave level. Rooftop bartenders were amazing. Fitness center was very small for such a large property. Other than a 2 or 3 day stay look for other options.

Had a great stay at the Hilton Mar Caribe. I stayed 6 nights with my family over spring break. The checkin process was fantastic. A cold towel was offered and the bell staff eager to take the bags as soon... as we arrived. I booked an enclave room, which afforded a special checkin area. This is where I sat down with Alondra. She was fantastic. Very warm and friendly. The room originally assigned to me wasn’t my desired higher floor, so Alondra worked to change that for me. Even though it was spring break, she found the perfect room for us. Very appreciative for that and being a Diamond member, it’s this kind of customer service that keeps me coming back. Same for Guadalupe. Saw her next. She was the person who booked all of our dinner reservations. She was very patient and did her best to get us the times and restaurants we wanted. The hotel always had fun things going on. Fun pool games during the day and a show or dance party at night. The beach was also great. Not much seaweed. The water was wavy but the hotel had plenty of chairs, that was never issue. Same by the pool. We booked a cabana for one of the days, and JC was always asking us if we needed anything. Very friendly and professional. Overall great stay. Vibe of the hotel was fun. Live music in the lobby and plenty of things to do.
