ESCAPE By Krystal Cancun - Big Scam

Beware of Crystal Cancun Membership/Timeshare Program – Major Scam Alert! We lost around $2,800, and now they’ve stopped responding to our inquiries. Here’s our experience with Crystal Cancun's Escape program: In February 2024, during our trip to Cancun, Mexico, we attended a presentation by Escape by Crystal. They pitched a $4,000 package promising us 7 free nights every year for 10 years, plus a 25% discount on other stays at any Crystal Cancun hotel. Several representatives, including the program head, confirmed these details, and we paid a $2,200 deposit with the remaining balance set up on a one-year installment plan. After returning to the U.S., we reached out to them, only to be told that our membership only included a 25% hotel discount—no 7 free nights. They denied ever offering the free night benefit. This is a total scam! Not only is their membership fake, but when we tried to cancel, they wanted to charge us a $900 penalty. Please do not sign up for any Escape by Crystal Cancun membership or timeshare. It's a scam, and you won’t get your money back.
Nice but old hotel

It is an old hotel and definetly needs a renovation. We had hot water problem and coudn’t be solved during our stay. They finally changed the room, after talking several times. The location is very good. Staff are nice and polite. Dining options are good.
