Not only was this an adults only resort, it was a "mature" adults only resort. The ambience was peaceful and beautiful. Everyone was grown and sexy and the experience was exactly what we were looking for.... If you are looking for a party type resort, this is not the place for you.

We had the best time here, but my reason for the review is to mention 3 people in particular, the lady who makes the omlettes at breakfast, always with the biggest smile on her face, we genuinely looked fo...rward to seeing her every morning! (I can’t remember her name ??) and then the main two waiters at breakfast and lunch, cesar and manolo, made our trip so enjoyable they couldn’t be more accommodating and kind, really are the nicest people in this hotel and it made the trip so much nicer!!! We were also soooo impressed with the food here for an all inclusive we were so pleasantly surprised!!!

The Market Café was the heart of our mornings at Secrets The Vine. Always bustling with friendly staff and a great variety of food, it was Michelle’s warm smile and Nicholas’s attentive service that made u...s feel truly welcome. Their passion and kindness made our stay unforgettable. I would say the service offered excellent value for money. While the resort and amenities were good overall, my wife and I both became ill on the final night of our 7 day visit to Secrets the Vine Cancun (May 4-11). We both subsequently tested positive for cyclosp...ora, and have been on antibiotics since returning home. The symptoms we experienced were extreme nausea, diarrhea, fatigue, and chills. We were very careful to drink only bottled water and not use tap water, however we did have drinks containing ice throughout the week. We did not eat or drink anything off resort, and stayed in the resort for the majority of our time (we saw a show one evening but did not consume any food or drinks there). Outside of falling ill, the food and drinks were flavourful and the staff were friendly and attentive. The pools were enjoyable, as well as the musicians who played by the pools throughout the day. The entertainment is quite limited, with no dedicated show space. Overall 6/10. Unfortunately, we likely will not return to this resort due to the food borne illness we experienced.

We have been to the Vine many times. The reason we keep.coming back is the staff. Miguel greets us upon arrival and remembers us. He helps with cabs and recommendations. The PC concierges are great! We ha...d Stephano this time but were remembered and greeted by Sébastien and Bruce. They checked on us often and made are stay more enjoyable. Angel around the pool provides excellent service makes sure the staff is getting drinks and checking in with us regularly. Only cons- guest having speakers around the pool. Food needs to be a little better.
