Service and food were unbelievable. The staff cannot do enough for you and always with a “my pleasure.” We go multiple times and year and are never disappointed with our trip. We can’t wait to return to our little piece of heaven in the winter.

The Resort very inviting. There’s a feeling of awe upon the moment of arriving. Bell boy Rodolfo was quick to welcome us and take our luggage. Abraham Front desk took our information quickly and checked us in. Raul our Concierge was very helpful in sharing information about our stay. . Rooms all have a wonderful ocean view. Food choices very good. Aurora is the main breakfast buffet place Fresa the greeter always happy. Juan our server is an extremely happy helpful person. Our favorite restaurants are Thai and Trattoria. Need reservations. Thai Miguel the captain very welcoming Honorable Mention to Alexa Thai hostess Geraldo server Santiago Armando Trattoria Italian restaurant. My favorite is the creamy tomato soup with croutons and fresh cheese, lasagna , Carpaccio appetizer delicious Atmosphere is wonderful. Armando server Gina manager The outside grill by the pool is great. Always good presentation and taste great. My favorite is the Monterey tacos & guacamole with pico de gallo and chips. Remarkable beach and infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Staff makes sure you are taken care of. Pool entertainment make the day go by quickly. Fun games pool volleyball, trivia games as well as pool exercise. They are not pushy very helpful. Shout out to Jonathan Roberto Allan Pedro Alex Mario Pool servers good at keeping you hydrated . Daniel Enendino Jose bartender Carlos Elizabeth Prior to dinner we love to stop into the VIP bar a hidden gem. Alfonso makes great drinks. Lobby bar is a great place to catch live entertainment. Sun Palace doesn’t have that wow factor. Food was good not a lot of options, the Aurora buffet was okay, I stayed 5 days and no bacon till Friday. Dinner reservations are required. Only 4 small restaurants, All the Palace Resorts have the same food, so if you’ve been to one Palace you’ll likely find no difference. This hotel is clean and small-small pools too. Beach non- swimmable. The drinks are very weak specially, the mixed drinks and sodas taste like diet. The Awe Spa is very small and one of the staff lady was rude. The housekeeping staff did an awesome job as always. We’re not messy at all, but the ladies they do such great work on making our bed. The entertainment is okay, like I mentioned in the beginning it’s not worth the money. You can find a much better resort for a lower price. I would not recommend this place nor come back.

The Entertainment Staff was impeccable. My wife and I spent a majority of our at-resort days at the pool with Alan, Stephanie, Jonathan, Pedro, and Roberto. There were numerous fun pool activities every day that they did an amazing job leading! We also went to the Chef’s Dinner for our 9 year anniversary. A wonderful 5 course meal (complete with 5 different wine pairings) made for a greater anniversary dinner than we had ever hoped! The sommelier, Alejandra, gave a beautiful history of each wine; Head Chef David and his team prepared excellent Italian courses; Pedro was an electric host that kept us entertained the entire time; and the tenor, Valentine, performed multiple beautiful operatic pieces during each course. You are guaranteed to have a great time at the Sun Palace! My wife and I went here for our initial honeymoon and were ecstatic to make it back 9 years later for our anniversary. Truly a gem in Cancun.

This was a wonderful dinner and show experience that I would highly recommend to anyone. The host, chefs, wine sommelier, and wait staff were all fantastic. An amazingly curated meal, all you have to do is show up! Would absolutely come again.
