My experience at Secrets The Vine was the best of all inclusive experiences I’ve ever had! Many thanks to Jared and Stephano, our personal concierges for the week for making our week so special! Check in a...nd checkout was a breeze. We enjoyed cappuccinos and pastries on our balcony every morning. Ice and limes were provided for our drinks each evening. Our every request was met with a smile and a tireless effort to please! Thank you again Jared and Stephano!

Every aspect of this resort was 5 star. The staff was phenomenal and the customer service was excellent. I would like to acknowledge Yovani, our server at Nebbiolo restaurant. He is a super star and one o...f the best waiters I've ever experienced in all my travels. Excellent resort!

Better than expected

Sebastian our concierge was the best concierge we have ever experienced at any hotel in Cancun. He made us feel special and was always there to help. He always follows through and really made our vacation ...what it was. thank you Sebastian! At the preferred pool area, Benjamin was wonderful, with a warm smile and so helpful every day we were there. We really appreciated Juan, at the pool as well. The coffee bar was very nice. We felt that the food at this resort was much better than so many other resorts we have been to. The steak restaurant the Mexican restaurant and the Asian restaurants were our favorite using this quality food makes us seriously consider returning. We did not like the options available to eat lunch when at the preferred pool. At other resorts, we have had simple Mexican options like tacos or chips with guacamole. We also didn’t like being shuffled around when other events were taking place. For example, when we asked to leave the pool area at 3:30 for the H&M party. 330 is still in the middle of the day and asking preferred customers to do that was a poor decision. Our check-in process for the preferred customers was very long and the help we’re not very nice. We honestly wish we just would have checked in downstairs in the lobby where they would have been able to accommodate us. If we return, we will try to remember that.

Relaxing And Fun All-Inclusive

OhioWendy7 (Wadsworth, Ohio) on Mar 28, 2025

We had the best time celebrating my husband's 40th birthday at Secrets the Vine. This was the 4th all-inclusive in Mexico that we have stayed at, and we both agreed it is tied for our favorite. We stayed... March 13-19, so it was a busy time at the resort. However, the only time it felt super busy was when finding a chair at the main pools. That is the one downside at this resort. The towel game is real. If you don't claim a chair early, you won't have many options. We are early risers, so we had no problem going out at 6:30/7 am to grab chairs before breakfast. They only other negative experience we had at the resort was the service at Dragons one night. We were ignored for quite a while after being seated. And throughout the meal. However, we returned here our last night since we liked the food. This time the service was great. So maybe it was just an off night. My husband doesn't love that you have to wear pants at two of the restaurants (steakhouse and Italian), but that is normal at most adults only AIs. Now with the negatives out of the way, let's move on to the many positives. The ride to and from the airport is max 20 minutes, so we were in paradise very quickly. Check in was easy at the Preferred Club lounge. We arrived around noon, but our room wasn’t ready until about 3:15. So we went and had lunch, drinks and enjoyed the pool. The pools were so fun. We had incredible drink service every day from Luis and Fernando. We had so many mango coladas and Scooby Doo shots. We also loved that they had live music by the pool every afternoon. They had several other activities going on all day as well. It was too windy at the pools to put up umbrellas a couple of the days we were there. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it is worth noting this can happen. Food was overall very good. We had some things we liked a lot, and some things that were just ok. It was nice that there was always a food option available. For breakfast we enjoyed the buffet, room service and pastries from the coffee shop. For lunch, we had the food from Barefoot Grill, Sea Salt and the buffet. We also had late night snacks from the coffee shop and room service a couple times. We had dinner at Bluewater, Dragons, Sea Salt, Nebbiolo and the sports bar. I wish we had had time for Mexican at the Market Café. They also had an outdoor dinner buffet and entertainment for St. Patrick’s Day that we went to. Our favorite restaurant was Nebbiolo. We did have to wait, though. Which we knew would happen. They told us an hour wait around 7 pm, so we went to Olio to have a drink while we waited. They sent us a message through the Hyatt Inclusive app about 40 minutes later when our table was ready. We got to Bluewater right when they opened at 6, and we were seated within minutes. Service was overall great. Excluding our one evening at Dragons, so I really think that was a fluke. Everyone else from the bartenders to servers to our housekeeper were super friendly. We did do Preferred Club. I wasn’t sure how much we’d use it, but we did use several of the included perks. Our Butlers (Manuel and Dulce when he was off) were both super nice and helpful. They messaged us each day to check in, scheduled our included hydrotherapy (which is a must to take advantage of – SO relaxing) and scheduled us a romantic breakfast on our balcony. We found ourselves in the Preferred Club lounge quite a bit for drinks and snacks. We were in there at least once per day. They made a very good espresso martini. We went to the Preferred Club pool only one day. It was nice and relaxing, though. Nice change of pace. But we liked the main pools more. We enjoyed lunch at Olio up there, which was delicious. I would for sure book Preferred Club again after this experience. Our room was a Preferred Club Deluxe Ocean View King room on the 24th floor. We had an amazing view. The spectacular view from this room was another perk of Preferred Club that made it worth it to us. We can’t wait to come back here again. It was, for us, the perfect mix of fun and relaxation.
