Check in Smooth used the app and this seem to make a noticeable difference in speed this year to last year. We arrived around 11am rooms where ready at 3pm you get notified through the app. Guest relations... will approach you when checking in about the prestige club but they are not pushy and it’s worth listening to as they can give you some useful information about the island. Also if you are a returning guest they are offering $500 worth of vouchers in $25 amounts when you spend $100 you get $25 off at things like the spa. Service I gave the hotel four stars last year and the main reason was service let it down massively especially in the lobby for evening drinks. There has been a massive improvement on this and the team are quick to get drinks out to you. Service around the pool is also much improved with regular drinks offered and easy access to the beach bar anyway so you’ll never go thirsty! I also like the new touch that when your rooms ready you will get an alert each time. Animation team I actually normally don’t comment on animation teams because I don’t really enjoy those kinds of events or the pestering that usually goes along with them. However what I absolutely love about this animation team is they seem to know who to speak to and persuade to join and who to leave alone and I love this. Food This has stayed relatively the same from our last visit, which is no bad thing! So far we have only eaten at the smokehouse but prefer the buffet. The smokehouse is cooler though to sit in. Buffet has a good selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner with selections for even the fussiest of eaters. Extras A bottle of champagne presented as well today not sure why but nice, although I’m not a big champagne drinker but appreciate the thought. Bugs where a big issue for me last time I got bitten every five seconds, this time I have used both the hotel’s mosquito repellent and jungle formula dry protect which does not contain deet this seems to have worked! My only real negative is the little shop in the hotel don’t buy anything from here it’s massively overpriced a bar of simple dove soap $10!!! Pool seems better on sunbed reservations so far with no real issues getting a bed under shade but it’s is still happening so would imagine in peak times this is a challenge. Conclusions Overall massive improvements and virtually no negatives just don’t be caught out without essentials or if you need any head to the town and make a day off it!

Everything was amazing. The staff were all so nice and helpful! The place is absolutely beautiful! Staff member Rufino went above and beyond to make sure our trip was the best it could be! We definitely h...ad more fun because of him! Thank you to all of the staff for an amazing vacation! Will definitely return!

Came for the diving and feel in love with the resort and staff! Everything was great from check in to check out. Beautiful resort grounds, good food and beverage options and top notch customer care! Alfre...do was exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure my stay and adventures were perfect and safe. The team at Dressel Divers, especially Vero, Gabby, and Jorge were wonderful dive guides. 100% will be back!

Our second time back and we loved our stay! We did a stay and dive package through Dressel Divers. The diving was amazing but our downtime at the resort was just as enjoyable. We loved the food and the st...aff was SO friendly! Jesse, Wendy, Ruby and Enrique (among others) took great care of us. The women in the spa were sweet and professional, loved my pedicure and massages. Fun activities to do like Pilates on the beach,etc.. great place to relax OR be active! Gorgeous beach, beautiful views, We will be back!

The food is exceptionally great. Yoania and her attention to detail creates a most enchanting atmosphere with tasteful delights. Mexican, Asian, Western and more. The buffet’s are first class and we really... enjoyed the Taste of Mexico!! Fantastic evening!! All hotel staff is very attentive. They keep the energy going throughout the day and evening. The free alcohol is of great quality too!! Rooms are exceptionally clean and welcoming. We had a suite for our first 8 days and decided to extend and stay another 5. We are now in one of the cute bungalo type units spread throughout the resort and we were very happily surprised at how nice it is as well!! And the convenience of Dressel Divers has been so welcoming. We’ve enjoyed it all!
