Noisy and not friendly

We were in a room next to the elevator and it was noisy. After asking for a room change so that we could sleep, we were moved to a quieter room. Staff acted like we were being a nuisance and staff were not friendly. We tried asking why this known noisy room was included in the premium category and did not receive an answer. This room really needs to be downgraded to a cheaper category. Both rooms were clean, we paid a premium for a view of the beach, which we got. Both rooms had the wardrobe in the bathroom behind the door, which was odd. Not sure if the resort fee is worth what we got. First and last time staying here.

Room and facilities are decent, very comfortable bed. Disappointing location and $45 resort charge is totally without merit for this not-on-the-beach, "beach" hotel. I'd rate this as a typical business-class Hilton claiming to be a resort. There are better local/non-chain options for the effective price.
