Pretty average stay. The worst part was unwillingness of the staff to refill breakfast items. We literally had to beg for stuff

It was our first time visiting Kewlona with 7 other members of family (& friends), we’ve booked two rooms and Hyatt Place gave us connecting rooms without being asked. Overall stay was excellent, rooms are clean, big enough for our two energetic girls & ample of amenities. We definitely will stay again there the next time we come.

arrived at the hotel an Indian gentlemen at the front desk was helping us check-in. However, his Indian accent english was quite hard to understand so we had to ask him to repeat couple of times. Then he got frustrated and told us he also could not understand our English. We lived in Canada for 20+ years, granted our English is not perfect, but through-out our 10 days road trip to Jasper we had no trouble communicating with people along the way. We simply asked him to repeat what he said and was not rude or frustrated

This hotel was decent but not great. The location was very good - central and near lots of things like Starbucks, grocery store, drug store, fast food, etc. Rooms were a good size and nicely decorated. However, the soundproofing left much to be desired, which I was surprised about given it's a pretty new hotel. Road noise didn't bother me even though my room looked out onto a main road, but I was woken up multiple times just by a person walking around the room above me. It was SO loud, and it was just the sound of feet generally, not high heels. I've stayed in many hotels in my life and have never experienced this. I could also practically hear people's conversations in the room next door (as well as yelling, singing, etc - it was so loud that initially I couldn't tell whether they were in the room beside or the hallway), and the room doors slam loudly unless you catch them and close them more gently. The breakfast was also lacking. There was no fruit except whole pears, and nothing to grab and go - just a few types of cereal, bread for toast, and eggs/sausage.

The location of this property has a lot of road noise which causes issues with sleeping. The front desk was unreachable via phone. The underground parking garage door was not functioning causing an unsecure security situation. The beds were extremely soft causing sleeping issues. The breakfast bar was not restocked well enough so we ate out. Not a regular Hyatt level of hotel.
