Bellagio 2024

Nice rooms; long distance from parking to hotel tower elevators; Very pricey ($24 for a bottled water in room!) and more than $15 for a bottle of Diet Coke. Beautifully decorated. Fountains are lovely. Very crowded. Amazing Christmas decor!
Beautiful place, fun stay!

Loved our room, clean and well kept the whole trip. Drink service was difficult when gambling and the drinks weren’t good. We could not get reservations for the restaurant during our stay as platinum members, so make your plans prior to arrival or you will be eating elsewhere. Small issues that we overcame.
The first time! Ever I saw this PLACE!

The Bellagio was simply Amazing! I can’t say enough about it! My Daughter and I lost our minds! We had an Amazing time and can’t wait to go back! We were celebrating her 50th Birthday and this was her first time there! I wanted her first time in Vegas to be memorable and the Bellagio was over the Top! Thank you Bellagio staff! “You’re Simply the Best” !!!!
So busy in December!

I have stayed at the Bellagio before so this was not my first visit. This time I did not pay extra to stay in a Fountain View room nor did I ask for an upgrade. I booked a Resort Tower King room, which is slightly larger than most of the Bellagio standard rooms and has the added bonus of a large bath tub. The view I had was of the mountains and my room was on the 20th floor so not too shabby. There are some rooms in the Spa Tower where you get a view of the fountains, but since the Bellagio stopped broadcasting the Fountain music on one of their TV channels, paying extra for a Fountain View stopped being that appealing to me. My room was lovely, not as much dark wood as there used to be and double aspect windows as all the rooms this size are on the corner of a building. I had a table with two chairs by the window and a very comfortable sofa, perfectly situated to watch the TV (if there was anything worth watching). The bed was super comfortable and I slept better than I usually do as someone with bad insomnia. I was a bit concerned when I checked in as the mini bar was not stocked that well but the receptionist reassured me I would not be charged. The mini bar fridge has a small shelf for people to store their own water etc. - not too much room but more than most Las Vegas hotels offer. The temperature control worked quite well and the lighting was well thought out, however the switches were a bit temperamental but once I reported it, it was fixed without delay. There was a very large bath tub, just the right length to soak in without disappearing under the water, a double sink unit with storage underneath and a shower. The shower was a little disappointing as it was fixed and the water strength was poor - but it was all very clean and there was a marble bench to sit on while showering. Another little complaint was that the toilet was integral to the bathroom with no door to the stall - this was not an issue for me as I was travelling solo but when I travel as a couple I like a bit more privacy. One thing that appears to have vanished, and no doubt someone will blame Covid, are the little touches that make your stay comfortable, such as provision of cotton will, cotton tips, emery board and a shower cap in the bathroom and a shoe horn and clothes brush in the wardrobe. They do provide robes which look as if they are made of cotton but very clearly are made of a synthetic as they create static every time you wear them and touch a metal surface. The spa Tower is close to the patisserie but even though I arrived down there at 6 am when it opened there was already a long queue. Two pastries cost about $11 and even though the staff do little except keep you waiting and pop the pastries in the bag, a 20% tip is suggested. Everything does seem to have increased in price, but I was expecting that. The first two nights of my stay were comped so I only paid the $50 resort fee - I am not the biggest gambler and only visit once a year, but it is worth signing up to MGM rewards anyway as I had comp offers at a number of hotels. The Bellagio was super busy as I was visiting a bit earlier in December than I usually do, and had forgotten that the Rodeo was in town during my stay. Despite all this, I did enjoy my stay at the Bellagio despite a couple of little niggles.
Vegas at it’s best - Bellagio

Excellent service, lots of restaurant choices and the glass as well as holiday decorations are amazing! And the chocolate display too! We enjoyed ourselves the 3 nights there - very walkable and convenient location. Perfect and enjoyable throughout!
