Not as advertised. I booked a pyramid room specifically and was then told it was not available and had to stay in the tower. Stood in line for 1 hour just to check in, and mobile check in did not work. Was told the tower room was “upgraded” but it was dingy and the shower smelled and we had a window view of the roof. Next morning the pool in front of cabanas was not even open for well over an hour. Nope. Never again. Will not recommend the Luxor to anyone. Makes me suspect of the entire MGM group.

The prices were cheap during our stay, so we ended up booking two rooms. The elevators were mostly down for the majority of our trip, resulting in long lines and wait times. The room was basic but clean. Location on the strip isn't ideal, especially in record setting temps, but there is a team from excalibur to save a few steps. If you can afford a few extra dollars, id recommend Park MGM or NYNY!
