Wonderful, toddler-friendly vacation location

Wonderful hotel— perfect location for a vacation with a toddler! So many great food options close by, easy walking paths for the kiddo, beautiful pool right outside, friendly staff. Shipwreck beach being ...right there is also a huge bonus— parents got to take turns going on beautiful beach walks during baby’s nap. Also really enjoyed the fitness facilities.

Fantastic Resort Experience with Incredible Amenities This hotel was a great value for what it offered, and the amenities truly stood out. The pool area was massive, with several different pools and a lon...g lazy river that connected a few of them together—it was perfect for both relaxation and fun. While the beachfront isn't always ideal for swimming due to the ocean conditions, the resort has clearly thought ahead. The large saltwater lagoon is a fantastic alternative. It’s spacious, beautifully designed, and ranges from very shallow areas to 7 feet deep, making it perfect for all ages. We spent hours enjoying it. One of our favorite spots was the Seaview Terrace. Located just off the lobby, it’s an excellent place to unwind with a bite to eat and a cocktail while watching the sunset. The views are stunning, and the daily live music adds a relaxing and elegant touch to the evenings. The entire property is beautifully maintained and has a classic Hawaiian luxury feel. That said, the rooms are starting to show a bit of age—not in a problematic way, but just in the small details that reflect the resort’s longevity. Still, nothing that took away from the overall experience. I would absolutely return and recommend this resort to anyone visiting Kauai. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and amenities.
