Escape to paradise and feel like ohana
Jacketsluv2travel (Atlanta, Georgia) on Dec 15, 2024
The Grand Hyatt Kauai is my favorite resort in Hawaii. I have stayed at several other Hawaiian resorts, including the Grand Wailea on Maui. The Grand Wailea is comparable to the Grand Hyatt in terms of the property. But the Grand Hyatt really excels when it comes to service. They make you feel like ohana. The number of employees who have worked decades at this property is a testament to the fact that they feel like family. In addition to the great employees, the grounds are a true paradise. The pool is so much more than a pool with a lazy river and water slide. The lagoon is another great place to lounge and swim. The grounds are immaculately maintained. I only wish they hadn’t gotten rid of the hammocks on the property. The rooms are large and spacious. The furniture has many drawers and shelves for organizing your belongings. I love the bathroom layout with the side shelves on each end of the counter-great for organizing your toiletries. The spa is WONDERFUL. I love the outdoor showers built of lava with rain shower heads. Great for cleaning up after a wonderful massage. I always hate having to leave the Grand Hyatt, but I always plan on coming back! I have been blessed to stay here 11 times and if I am lucky, I will be back!!!!
Wonderful holiday in Poipu

Amazing hotel! Everything and resort should be. Outstanding room with a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. The grounds are meticulously kept. It feels like you were walking around in a botanical garden. Multiple pools, which are all wonderful. The only critique is that the beach outfront is not a swimming beach, which may be an issue for some people. Poipu Beach is not too far away, and there is lots of swimming there. Also, the food options are somewhat limited and expensive. Lots of nearby places to eat, over in Poipu or Koloa.
