Absolutely beautiful hotel
Caliwen (Sugar Land, Texas) on Aug 04, 2024
Right across the street from the pantages theater. Beautiful modern hotel. Room was amazing. The only thing is the bathroom has a 12 inch frosted window that is in the shower that is viewed through to the bedroom which freaked our teenagers. So we piled up out luggage in front of the glass and blocked it. Our room air conditioner rattled/vibrated a lot. Sounds like it’s missing the insulation/dampener around it. Parking is valet only $75. There is a parking structure next door and it’s $35 for 12 hours on spot hero. Shake shack is right across the street which is one of our favorite hamburger places. Definitely will be booking here again. It’s 10min away to universal studios. Great location!
Outstanding Customer Service Makes All The Difference!

I was in LA for the week and I really want to shout out the customer services of Lei Marr Echon. The professionalism was first class and he really cared about my experience going above and beyond! I hope the Marriott values their staff that stand out like he does because these days it's so hard to find! Hint: I would set Lei as an example as the standard for all staff should meet and I would reward him! I'd recommend a comp'd Marriott room in New Orleans when he goes to The Eras Tour since Marriott is a sponsor! I stayed at a Marriott when I went to the Eras Tour in Madrid and I had an amazing time and stay!
Could be better

Recently renovated, and fair-priced by Los Angeles standards, the W Hotel in Hollywood is centrally located and fairly elegant with good amenities such as a 24-hour fitness center. Offering Bonvoy VIPs benefits like drink credits and tickets to the Chinese Theater, though parking is still $79 a night, flaws include lots of noise on the streets below, weak WiFi and water temperatures that are either "Titanic" sinking or the White House in "Independence Day."
20/10 recommend

I honestly wish I could give this hotel more stars! Amelia was honestly so stunning she made our stay so incredible, I literally cannot thank her enough!!! We also had this super awesome engineer come and help with something I was being a complete dummy with and couldn’t figure out, his name was Josh; absolutely incredible as well. 10/10 recommend staying here. It was my partners first time to this part of Cali and I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience for him.
