Please note the following renovation schedule for Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos for 2024 and 2025. Construction work will only take place from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the following dates:
· April 20 – January 30, 2025: Construction is taking place on a new Fitness Center and no disruption is anticipated for guests as the old fitness center will remain open for use.
· May 23, 2024 – March 22, 2025: Tower B will be completely closed as 232 rooms and bathrooms are fully renovated. Although these rooms are out of inventory, we expect heavy noise in the first nine weeks.
· May 23, 2024 – December 22, 2024: The Water Park will be closed.
· September 3 - February 22, 2025: The convention center foyer will be expanded and there will be dust and noise. Events and weddings are being rescheduled but leisure guests should not be affected. Breakout rooms will be closed on specific dates during this time.
· June 1 – December 20, 2024: Pool snack bar Coco Loco will be under construction. Noise and dust are expected but snacks and drinks will still be offered poolside.
· June 1 – December 24, 2024: While Zaffiro—the Italian restaurant—will be closed. Italian cuisine will be available at the Cortez restaurant during this time.
· June 4 – December 22, 2024: A new Wedding Showroom is being built.
· June 10 – December 22, 2024: The Teen Club will be expanded and it will be closed for guests. Entertainment for all ages will be available around the main pool.
· June 10 – January 30, 2025: The Kidz Club will be renovated and a temporary KidZ Club will open in a meeting room and children’s programming will still be offered during this time.
· July 8 – December 22, 2024: Preferred Check-In is closed for renovations and available at the front desk.
· July 22 – January 30, 2025: A new Indian dining outlet is being built in the lobby bar area and noise and dust is to be expected.
It’s important to note that these areas listed above will be operating as usual outside of the timeframe listed and will not affect all guests. Please note there will be work within the hotel’s lobby. Dates and plans are subject to change, the hotel staff are working diligently to minimize disruptions throughout the renovation period.

Dirty bathrooms, loud noise of construction, limited activities with long wait, and bad services at the coffee shop. Good for only small kids, not for over 5. There was nothing to do for them. Food was great but limited quantities of popular items. Be ready for them.

If you have kids, this place is paradise. I cannot say enough good things about the level of service and the amount of available amenities available. The ONLY criticism would be the quality of the food, but this is an all-inclusive resort. You shouldn't expect 5-star food at an all inclusive resort. The weather was perfect. We did not see a cloud in the sky the entire visit. Clean, safe and reasonably priced.
