Great food. However, the establishment is definitely in need of renovation, a better system to dine without hassle and much improvement needed for hiring of staff with positive welcoming attitude and servi...ce. Overall, Catalonia was decent value for the money.

When I first knew we were going to this hotel resort, I read the reviews and I was apprehensive because there was quite a few bad and a few good but I wanted to keep an open mind and I am so glad I did. Th...e resort was much bigger than what I expected. Yes it does need an upgrade but it was clean and tidy the staff where friendly. And very helpful. The pool area lovely and clean entertainment every night. The food was very good. The jerk bar was the best the main two lady’s that seem to run this bar are the best worth their waiting in gold Myself and my husband will definitely return again to the resort one day Just a wee note whether they’re allowed or not to give the staff a wee tip now and again makes all the difference and most of the time they deserve it so it’s handy if you take some dollars with you especially non-US citizens Also make sure you have a C5 form filled out before you enter Jamaica makes life a lot easier entering the country

As customer service… felt unwanted as if I was bothering staff when we needed service they don’t seem happy I would not go back Wait time at bar without crowd is 10 mins and I am still waiting lol ?? neve...r got my drink I tried the same front bar next dae same situation we were planning on starting an extra day but we left

Very basic. Not 4* for sure! Room was run down and out dated. Air conditioning unit very loud! Room cleaning good if you tip! Staff friendly. Grounds /beech and private island immaculate! My 2 year old got... ring worm in the pool the 1st day! My son also got a rash and an allergic reaction to something near midnight, the lack of concern and empathy was terrible. Just wanted me to go get money and a card! Had a nice holiday but wouldn't stay here again. As a guest in a crisis situation yih shouldn't be worrying about payments more treatment. Couldn't get in the breakfast buffet 3 days running without waiting 30mins plus.
