I wanted a resort that was both relaxation and celebration! I found that at Secrets Wild Orchid. It was my husband's 50th birthday and I surprised him with this trip. Secrets did a wonderful job by providi...ng him with a dessert, champagne and a sign on the door to greet him when we arrived at the resort. I selected the Preferred Master Suite with Butler and the room had the wow factor I wanted. Devon the butler was amazing by setting up our reservations daily, making our spot at the cabana on the beach welcoming, and taking care of our every need. I had a wonderful time at this resort and highly recommend it!

Went on a trip with my mother here. We stayed 4 nights. It was amazing!! We were in the preferred club rooms and our porch was 5 steps away from the beach. We had a butler Andre who was AMAZING. He helped ...us with everything we needed and set us up with reservations, the spa, and beach chairs. The resort is gorgeous and there are so many activities here. Every single worker was so nice! Highly recommended.

Secrets wild orchid preffered club room had an exceptional view. The rooms are not large, but are very satisfactory with a king size bed, a separate shower and jaccuzi tub. Lots of storage space. Plenty of... usb plugs. Not much storage for the bathroom counter, but I brought ikea zipper boxes for supplies. The non swim out rooms are all on the upper stories of the 4 story building 1. A quick walk to the designated beach with a lot of loungers and palapas. Constant shade is hard to come by as the palapas do not tilt. The beach is shallow and fun for swimming and snorkeling. You will find plenty of fish along the big stones. While we were there seemed to be a lot of moon jellyfish. We avoided them, but were told they were not very dangerous. All of the restaurants are a short distance from this building. All were very good, except in our opinion, the Mexican. To choose from is the French Bordeaux with excellent french onion soup and escargot, Jamaican Blue Mountain with tasty coffee flavored sauced ribs, Himitsu Japanese style menu or the grill, Portifino Italian with excellent calamari and fettuccine Alfredo. The morning breakfast buffet served at the World Cafe was the normal dishes. Really nothing special. They do have 2 lines of omelet or egg orders. All good. All in all, a nice All inclusive suitable for a romantic getaway.

This was a last minute trip for my wife and I are we had no idea what to expect, however, this resort exceeded our expectations. The best food I've had at an all-inclusive, and I've stayed at many. Enterta...inment was great. Romaine was the chef at the Italian restaurant he was great! food was amazing and he was funny! Great experience. , Junior and the crew at the swim up bar we're great! They just get it. The "chef" handled out cabana was amazing. Funny and nice, made sure we were taken care of. The entire staff was all outstanding! Normally, when I go out of the states, I get people coming up to me to try and sell stuff all the time, and I didn't have that experience. I really felt like I was able to relax and just have fun. The Piano Bar and the Club was tons of fun as well. Really just always something to do. 3 miles from the airport, so it was easy to get to and from which was great. the hotel also helped with making sure we have transportation to the airport as well. I have zero complaints about the hotel, this was really a good trip. This place was so fun and amazing that we are looking to plan another trip back & this time with our group of friends. It was such a blast. Really had a great time at this place.
