Go for the beach, nothing else

This was our first stay at a couples resort, we had heard alot of good things about the brand but wanted check it out first hand. The resort itself has a very tropical feel to it,not modern at all if that...'s what your looking for. The guest that we encounter were repeat customers with a sense of entitlement and snobby attitudes, much older we sometimes felt like we were in a retirement home, but we did not hold that to the resort. The food was limited to 2 à la carte a buffet and a restaurant that was rotating opened and closed. The quality of food was good but that's a individuals decision. The best thing I would say is the beach, absolutely beautiful with lots of activities to do. I would go back just for the beach. We have stayed in much better resorts for the same price point. Overall I would say this place is a little overhyped with a lot of old people keeping it busy but for how long..

The staff at Couples Swept Away is the best. I have a timeshare at a different resort in Negril but prefer Couples Swept Away. You also receive extra amenities if you are able to get reservations for them.... I didn't get up early enough to every get in though.
