This was the best truly all inclusive we have ever stayed at for a couples get away. From arrival at Montego Bay Airport with Club MoBay to every wonderful detail at the resort everything was magical. The ...trip by Couples van was enjoyable and our driver did stop for bathroom break half way which was very appreciated. 7 mile beach is paradise and CSA's included snorkeling trips are full of sea life. I had asked "Captain" if we would see sea turtles and he delivered. We also saw numerous starfish just wading at the beach. We are not early risers and always had plenty of lounge chair options in the shade even at noon. The food everywhere was delicious with plenty of options. I had the best lamb chops at Feathers and crab cakes and snapper at Patios. The steak skewers and desserts at the Palms were a must too. Be sure to have the Key Lime martini upstairs at the martini bar. Lunches were enjoyed most days with Akeem at Seagrapes showing us how to make sushi and eating fish tacos. Our beachfront veranda room was perfect with a gorgeous view from our second floor balcony where we enjoyed room service continental breakfast several mornings delivered in a picnic basket. Fridge was always well stocked with my husband's Cokes and champagne every evening to toast the sunsets. They have ice bins and filtered water on the first floor of every building and unlimited soda fountains on either end of the beach. I did frequent the coffee bar for late morning caramel macchiatos with Blue Mountain coffee. There are so many included excursion to explore Negril and the catamaran cruise to Rick's to watch the cliff jumpers, swim in the caves, and then drink rum punch and enjoy the sunset is a must. We also enjoyed the sports complex and did a pickleball class with an excellent instructor. The spa and the couples massage was amazing, my husband enjoyed the steam room and i enjoyed the plunge pool and outdoor shower too. The drive back to the airport was a quick 90 minutes but we hated to leave. I no longer wonder why guests return year after year to their home away from home. We can't wait to return.

I gave it 4 rather than 3 stars as the food quality and beach were excellent. Pros: Beautiful beach and calm, clear water. Top quality and variety of food, and drinks. *Most* staff were pleasant and ...attentive - had conversations with several over the week. Cons: *Some* staff were stoic and unfriendly despite a natural tendency for both of us being inclined to make eye contact, greet people and say hello, whether we're on holiday or not. In addition, on our first morning when we weren't yet fully familiar with the property, my wife poked her head in the coffee shop near the lobby which she soon realized opened at 7am. She'd walked in a couple of minutes early (literally 6:58am) and the barista bluntly advised her "we're not open yet" in a condescending tone. My wife apologized and walked back in two minutes later. Such experiences give you a jolt of disappointment when you're relaxed, on vacation and not expecting it. Some lunches were staffed by student trainees who were more interested in having a loud laugh amongst themselves than checking on whether you'd like an empty glass filled over quite long periods of time. Supervision and training will fix that. You just don't expect these kind of experiences at such a nice, higher end resort. Simple civility and attentiveness goes such a long way. The toilet broke and water leaked on the floor in our original treehouse style room. Stuff happens - no big deal. It was managed within a few hours, so credit to staff for that. The room we were re-assigned to was not as nice though unfortunately. We've stayed at Sunset at the Palms a year earlier. It's a short walk to the beach but a non issue. The dining was great. The staff were exceptional throughout the resort. Best we've experienced anywhere.
