Great spot to simply relax

We had a great time. The facilities are by no means new, however it is well kept. It was a great spot to relax and unwind. It gives a feel for small town charm if you will. The staff are excellent and ...personable. The food was great at all the different dining options. The beach was fantastic and it also had very good facilities and good food. the testament to me was that we saw so many people that were returnee's to the resort, that says a lot. We will also return to Sunset at the Palms
Great Place in Negril, but make sure your travel documents are in order.

Awesome place. It's amazing to go from a jungle experience and then cross the street to a beautiful private beach. Everyone was extremely friendly, service and food were great. My wife loved the gift shop,... where surprisingly the prices were comparable to the vendors out on the beach. That said, the only issue was getting there. At the airport in Florida, we weren't able to check in because we needed a C5 form from the Jamaican government. No one told us this in advance, neither the airline OR the resort. By the time it was resolved (including getting ripped off by a scam website) we missed our flight and there wasn't another until the next day. So we had to book a hotel there and got to the Palms a day late. We requested a credit for the $700 for the first night, as we didn't stay, eat, etc. but were told that couldn't be done. We're hoping they might bless us with a credit on a future stay because we would very much like to return.
