I was dreading staying after reading the reviews! My one bad point is although the beds/bathroom was clean the carpet had not been vacuumed and there were M&Ms and a sewing needle on the floor (spotted be...fore trodden on) However…. My family had the best time! The location is superb ???? we had no issues at check in or check out, no queues no horrible staff, in fact a special shout out to Louis the bellhop! He went above and beyond to help us get where we wanted to go, Gary the doorman who made sure we were looked after, these men were always friendly, warm and a credit to the hotel! Could the hotel be in need of a little TLC? Absolutely, but I would happily stay again !
Guest Services - terrible manners

When trying to find out information by phone regarding the hotel prior to booking and asked a clarifiying follow up question I was met by a rude and condescending individual who was rushing me off the phon...e. When I said to him I’m finding his responses very rude he questioned what was rude and I told him his tone and responses are rude. He then took the phone away from his ear, I could hear him talking about me to one of the other staff members and then hung up!! You’re in customer service should you not being servicing your customer? I still booked the hotel after calling into the Marriott call center to get my answers I needed. I hope to not run into this individual in person during my stay. Couldn’t get his name as he was so abrupt and ended the conversation when he was not interested in hearing my questions any longer but I sure will recognize the voice!
