Huge rave for an amazing vacation. This was our first time here and it was such a great experience for our 30th anniversary. Big shout out to our Butlers Gladstone and Sherrell(sp). They made our time th...ere wonderful. From the notes on our bed to the surprise bubble bath, we were so pampered by them. The food was amazing and the drinks were plentiful. Thank you to all of the staff for their friendliest service. We have already booked our next trip for our 31st anniversary.

We spent 7 nights at Sandals Royal Plantation in April 2025. This was our second visit and it was even better than the first time 6 years ago. What we loved: 1. The size of the resort. This is more of a b...outique size hotel with 75 ish rooms. It never feels crowded because of this. It is also easy to socialize with the other guests. 2. Really tied for #1 is the staff. Omar, the GM is around all the time to make sure guests are happy. Butlers, this is an all butler resort and we had 3 butlers while there all of whom were amazing Neil, Delgardo and Keanio. One day at the beach, Neil surprised us with oxtail and peas and rice and then Keanio also offered us some jerk chicken one day. Delgardo's personality was a highlight...he was friendly and outgoing and at the ready for any of our needs. The beach butlers were always around and making sure drinks were full. The wait staff, especially those at The Terrace and Royal Cafe were super! I almost forgot to mention the bartenders....how could I forget them??? They made us feel right at home and always had great recommendations for drinks. They told great stories and were fun to get to know. 3. The beach - there are plenty of chairs and umbrellas. We would get to the beach at various times of the day and never had to worry about not getting a lounger and umbrella. The water is clear and is generally calm by the beach. 4. The food...even though there are only 4 restaurants on site, there are plenty of food options and everything we ate here was delicious. Le Papillon has limited seating so definitely make a reservation with your butler upon arrival. The escargot was so yummy as were the lamb chops! 5. The entertainment...this didn't change much over the last 6 years BUT the entertainment team was phenomenal at getting the guests involved. I recommend BINGO (but make sure you follow the rules...or don't and see what happens...it may just add to the fun for everyone!) Karaoke was so fun! And last but not least Jamaica night is a must ...the food and entertainment were the best. 6. Golf...we golfed 3 days while here. Greens fees are included but you do need to pay for a cart and caddy. The caddies really know their stuff and help to make the rounds more enjoyable and keep the pace of play moving. Fabian was our caddie and I would recommend him. 7. The spa...we had a couples massage and it was well done. It is pricier than some spas in the US and the gratuity and tipping were a bit confusing to us. I would go back next time I am there. We did go to 2 other resorts (one of the perks of Sandals) to eat and see what they were like. Dunn's River was comparable from a service perspective and the food was very good at Banyu where we ate. Ochi was the 2nd resort we went to ... honestly it was just not for us. The staff at the pool bar did not seem to want to be there. We ate dinner at Kelly's Dockside and the food was mediocre at best. We did have a great server there (Alloy) and the sunset was beautiful but I wouldn't go back for the food. I would much prefer to stay at SRP and go to The Royal or Terrace or Le Papillon. Wrapping up ...I would recommend SRP and I am sure we will be back! The service is the star here!

Just back from a wonderful stay at Sandals Royal Plantation and have to say our stay was fabulous from beginning to end. The resort was beautiful. Spotlessly clean and well managed and looked after. All th...e staff from the Manager Omar, who knew everyone's name to the beach waiters and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Special mention to our butlers Marvin and Bebeato who looked after our every need and to Monique and her housekeeping team who kept our room beautiful. The restaurants were all great and the food was delicious. We would definitely recommend this Sandals resort to anyone thinking about booking

This was our first international trip; we are in our 60's celebrating our wedding anniversary. From the time you arrive with a "Welcome Home" until you leave with a goodbye song (yes the staff actually sa...ng to us) you are greeted with smiles, attention and care. Our Butlers Richard and Dauwainey were so accommodating fulfilling any request we had plus a couple of surprises. I have never felt so pampered! Chef Martin was amazing from accommodating my food allergies to making sure we experienced the Jamaican fest night even though we missed the buffet. The food is amazing at all the restaurants. The beach butlers were also wonderful. Pictures do not do the property justice. We also enjoyed two massages at the Red Lane Spa which were wonderful. Thank to Omar the GM and everyone else! Garnet, Thank you for teaching how to play the game! Can't wait to return next year!

Just returned from yet another wonderful holiday at Royal Plantation. We met the new GM Omar who is amazing, he can be seen daily around the hotel always has time to chat and get to know you. The accommoda...tion meets all your needs and kept spotless by the amazing housekeeping staff. You will never be disappointed with the standard of the food or the choice available. The standard of service you receive is exceptional I always visit the Red Lane Spa on my visits and have the same therapist Alison. She really has magic hands and I always come away from the spa feeling like a new person.On each of our visits we always have the same Butlers Neil & Chase. The service these guys provide is just amazing, they make us feel really special and go out of their way to meet our needs and give us the most wonderful holiday.
