I can’t thank the team at the Howard Johnson in Anaheim enough—especially Ariel and Cathy—for turning a stressful situation into a truly positive experience. When my reservation was unexpectedly canceled ...by Booking.com without my knowledge, I was frustrated and unsure what to do. Ariel stepped in immediately with professionalism and compassion. She took care of everything, rebooking my stay quickly and ensuring I felt welcome and reassured. Her dedication and calm attitude were exactly what I needed and truly saved my trip. At checkout, Cathy was just as amazing. She was incredibly kind, helped store our bags so we could enjoy our last day without worry, and even arranged a later checkout for us. Her warmth and helpfulness made our departure smooth and stress-free. Thanks to Ariel and Cathy, I’ll definitely be returning and recommending the Howard Johnson Anaheim to others. Exceptional service like this is hard to come by!

Enjoyed our one night stay in a King Bunk bed suite. Very clean, comfortable beds. Love the Pirates decor and location directly across from Disneyland is fantastic. Check in went smooth, very friendly staf...f. We liked gift shop, filled with tons of cute Disney items. I highly recommend staying here for your next Disney trip!

My family and I were excited for our trip we usually get great rates at Hilton, but I decided to pay extra because of the water playground. It’s very small kids get bored after 10 minutes and there’s no po...ol but the real problem is how the employees treat people it’s bizarre. It’s like constant harassment. You can’t get in or out of the pool or anywhere without going over a five minute set of rules and then telling you you’ve done something wrong constantly. The TV is tiny and the Wi-Fi is so slow. You have to wait a full minute after you press each button on the remote. It’s the lack of humanity, That is the most bothersome it’s astonishing.

on my previous visit in 2023 I stayed in one of the older rooms, and while it was affordable, left me thinking I’d never return. The older rooms I was in had hair all over the bedding and other signs of un...cleanliness and a lack of care, including the fact that the balcony door would not properly seal. On this visit, I decided to upgrade to a double queen Park view room in building one for a special occasion. This trip was so much better, the room was clean, except for some crumbs on the bench seat and a few smudges on curtains and wall. The door sealed properly and kept the room nice and quiet. The AC unit worked great and the room was very comfortable. The bed I stayed in the mattress was compressed towards of the center of the room, clearly where people have been staying, so I did feel like I was going to fall or roll out of it several times in the night otherwise it was very comfortable. We received the view we paid for and it was really quite lovely for a great view of the parks and the fireworks. Overall the stay was excellent and I would definitely consider staying again if in my price range.
