The beds were pretty clean but the room had a moldy smell. The carpet and bath floor had not been cleaned or shampooed in a while. Location wise is not too bad, it's the very last hotel on a strip of hotels right across from Disneyland, making it the farthest which is convenient if you don't want to rent a car but after walking with your child all day in the park, the last thing we wanted was to walk 10 more mins. The night receptionist Joel left us waiting outside of the lobby for more than 15 mins while he came to his post at the front desk, he never apologized, had an unprofessional attitude and was plain rude. Do not recommend it if you're traveling with kids. There are at least a handful of closer & cleaner hotels on S. Harbor Blvd between Disney Way and Manchester Ave.

Great hotel, a short 10 minute walk to Disneyland. Very comfortable for a family of 5. Free coffee and tea provided, with a bar fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend. Parking available. You can get scooters delivered direct to the hotel if you need one for Disneyland. A 10 min Uber ride to Knotts Berry Farm too

This hotel is amazing- very clean comfortable great staff- we r platinum members and they just did so much to make our stay awesome. The kids absolutely loved the water park and our room with the bunk beds !! Walking distance to Disney was great- and again, just super clean which I love. Great view from room could see fireworks every night.

Visited Disneyland park and couldn’t be more please with our stay at Howard Johnson. Will definitely do it again!

Where to begin? My daughter and I did a Disneyland father daughter trip. The HoJo was our best stay out of all the places we have stayed near Disneyland. The staff was so helpful and kind! Nicole and Heather especially went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. It was an 8 minute walk to Disneyland. The rooms were so big and clean. Beds were comfy and the in room coffee was a great touch. The fridge is large and there’s plenty of space for all your things. The pool was heated and such a nice place to take a break. The lifeguards were so attentive and helpful. Castaway Cove waterpark was a blast as well. Lots to do in the waterpark and even a hot tub so you could watch your kids and relax. We will likely stay here every time we visit Disneyland. The HoJo feels like home and we absolutely LOVE it here!!
