Updated rooms are nice. But that isn't why your would stay here. The real draw is the vibes. By vibes I mean the awesome staff, fantastic eateries, the best pool (by far) in Universal, constant music, loca...tion to parks, cleanliness....The folks at the Beach Club are over the top helpful and friendly. The Velvet Lounge (they may have changed the name) is the best for experienced, courteous, friendly and accommodating bar tenders (hope Skinny feels better). Not to mention the live music, which is fantastic. You are better off eating at one of the hotel bars/restaurants than many (if not all) of the establishments in City Walk. As usual, Hard Rock sets the bar for a fun and relaxing vacation.
Best location for HHN event

Stayed 3 nights for attending HHN. It’s very walkable to the entrance of the parks. Hotel and pool felt a lot more vibrant and busy than the portofino ( in 2018). Exellent, very clean room. Bed was super c...omfortable. Check in and out was easy. Pool atmosphere and bar was great. So was the breakfast brunch at the kitchen.
