Reviews
4 nights at Terra Luna!
Ashley T on Apr 05, 2025
I’ve had the best time at the new Terra Luna Resort. My husband and kids gave me an early Mother’s Day gift so that I could enjoy Universal without being in mom mode! I arrived frazzled from my GPS sending... me all over creation due to construction. From the moment I stepped in I was at ease. The front desk people were so kind, empathetic and full of knowledge! My room was clean and relaxing. There are motion sensor lights that you will probably read in every review! Yes, they are distracting when sleeping. Especially if you move a lot like I do! I have know doubt they are already working on a solution for that. In the meantime a sleep mask might be helpful. The market and cafe have wonderful choices. I had the salmon bagel, chicken salad sandwich, chocolate croissant and some of the giant cookies. I enjoyed it all. The cost is higher but expected. I think most everything was $12 except the bakery items. On the other side there is a grill. The Terra Luna burger is mouth watering delish! I ordered room Service one night and had the hot honey chicken pizza and garlic knots. It was huge for one person and I snacked on my leftovers the next day. Again, delivered quickly and hot! I did not have one bad thing. The employees at those locations were also so kind and patient. I watched them handle some Pretty high maintenance folks. The pool has ample seating with lots of umbrellas. They also have towels for you as well. The shuttle ride is probably about 15 minutes to City Walk. So if you’re a rope dropper plan accordingly. Oh, they also have an outdoor bar and grill and an indoor bar. I didn’t try those out but I’m sure they are great. There is also a cute store with merch for the new Epic park. They also have an area for all those things you forget. I forgot my razor and paid $2 for a basic Bic. I was grateful they sold them. Overall, I would stay here again and bring my family. I’ve had better food and service at this value resort than some hotels where I’ve paid two and three times the cost! Can you hear people in other rooms? Yes. But I’ve never been at a hotel where you couldn’t hear little kids or even big kids running down the hallways. I go into these situations with the right expectations. This is a value resort ideal for family’s with kids.
Don’t expect to sleep well
Daniel H on Apr 03, 2025
We are staying for 6 nights. The first night the lights turned on/off all night. Our kids were sleeping so we went to the desk in the am and they assured it would be fixed. The next night we got home from ...a long day at the parks and the kids fell asleep and same thing. We went to the desk in the am and they gave us a post it note to put over the sensor on the ceiling. 1/2 way thru the night the post it fell off and the lights began turning on/off. We were told that it’s because we are living in our sleep and nothing could be done. Nobody seems to really care about customer service. Haven’t slept in 4 nights. Our room was supposed to be cleaned every other day but only one bed was made and the garbage wasn’t taken out. The pool is nice. Resort is clean.
