Wonderful week at Terra Luna!

piepsk (Fond du Lac, Wisconsin) on Jun 03, 2025

Our family just returned from a 7-night stay at Terra Luna and we had a fabulous time. The hotel is clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our check-in was very quick and informative. The fact ...that you can text the front desk if you need anything was amazing. We used that option a few times for more towels and they were brought to our room very quickly. The food at the market and the cafe is wonderful. You can easily order online so you don't have to wait in line. The pool area was great with plenty of chairs and shade along with some outdoor games. They even have movies in the pool area at night. We didn't think there was a sidewalk leading away from the hotel but on one of our last days we noticed that there was one leading out the back pool area and out the side of the hotel. You could easily use that to walk to Epic or various restaurants down the road. This would have been nice to know at check-in and we could have saved some money by walking instead of using Door Dash. The shuttles were always efficient and we never waited more than 5-10 minutes for shuttles to any of the Universal parks. Thanks for the fabulous stay!

Enjoyable stay @ Terra Luna Resort

cgwifey (FL) on May 30, 2025

I really enjoyed my one night stay at Terra Luna. The lobby was bright, welcoming and the front desk staff was fast and efficient. The room was clean and spacious. I had heard about issues (too sensitive) ...with motion sensor lights by the bathroom, but never experienced any issues. Also never heard any noise from either room next to us, even with ours being a connecting room. The pool was relaxing. Interesting cocktails and mocktails at bar by pool, Moonrise Bar. The food was good at the Moonrise Grill and Omega: typical hotel food but quite decent. They also have pizza delivery till 12:00AM. The menu also has a couple of salads and sandwiches, The bus ride to Epic was no more than 5 minutes. Terra Luna is a very good option for an Epic park visit.

Great new hotel

TB-27529 (Garner, North Carolina) on May 15, 2025

We spent 5 nights here. First off, it's brand new. Everything is clean and everyone was so friendly. The rooms were immaculate. I was able to do laundry. They have machines on 2 of the levels... 2 and ...9 maybe... I used the ones on the 2nd floor. $4 for wash and another $4 to dry. A little steep. Bring your own detergent to save that expense. The food was great. They have a good selection for each time of day and we never got something we didn't like. We were actually quite surprised. Some meals we weren't as hungry so we just got a kids meal. Pool was very nice. Buses to city walk were on time and no issues. We were going to walk over to Stella Nova but never did, but there's a crosswalk you could if you wanted to. Parking is expensive. Wish they'd get rid of that extra expense.

Quite a few bumps in the road to say the least.

pigbelk (Boston, Massachusetts) on May 14, 2025

My family and I stayed 8 days/ 7 nights mid to late April 2025 and found the hotel to be quite nice and the room was fantastic overlooking Epic Universe in the distance. We had housekeeping service our roo...m just once in the week we were there and even then we had to call to get it done. The food at the hotel was of decent quality but at a cost that made you remember where you were at. The menu is not that extensive for people staying a week as you run out of options quickly. Room card wouldn’t work in the parks and restaurants as we were told, even after adding nearly $1,000.00 to it causing major issues and confusion. The bus to Volcano Bay had us waiting nearly 2 hours and missing early entry and thus no good chair locations. Universal Super Shuttle never came to bring us back to the airport even though we confirmed and paid everything in advance causing us to pay $60 to get to the airport to catch our flight back home and then waste time trying to get refunded our money back from Mears Transportation and not Universal. Many complaints of the elevators being down and long waits, unsupervised children fooling with the carousal doors ended up breaking them for 5 outta 8 days. This is definitely a 2-3 star hotel at best. Only thing it’s got going for it is that it’s new and close to Epic Universe.

Convenient but underwhelming

Trek523260 on May 07, 2025

Nice hotel and convenient if visiting Universal parks especially EPIC as it's connected by a walking path. The first night the air conditioner in our room wouldn't cool and we were moved to another room. S...ince the hotel had only been open a few weeks they were still working out the bugs in the system. There is a café and market but no other eating options nearby. The café food is like a school cafeteria only more expensive. The market did have good coffee options.
