Comfy room; I quite like the convenience of having a suite with a sitting room/office and bedroom.. Most excellent breakfast, including omelettes to order. Under a half our to walk to Old Town; this kind of location is important for my pleasure.

Overall, our stay was about average for an Embassy Suite. The breakfast and breakfast facility was wonderful, and the breakfast staff was fantastic. The pool in the main area was very nice as well and heated (although the hot tub is no longer there, which we were disappointed with as we were expecting one based on the website. Note- they do have one hot tub by the pool in the other building.). The hotel is working on some updates, which is understandable. The beds in our room were comfortable, but, based on our room, the cleaning staff does not appear to be taking care of the smaller cleaning details (like wiping down doors, for example). We often stay at Embassy’s and weren’t overwhelmed by this one. We’d probably select a different location next time.

Great spacious bedroom and suite area. The breakfast is awesome too! The will established older property is always a pleasure to visit. The lovey has an amazingly large picture. When you enter, it is probably thirty feet wide and it intrigued me every time I stay here.

The front desk was completely overwhelmed/understaffed. Tried to check in a little early (3:00 PM) was told to come back at normal check in (4:00PM) to find a line up to check in with the single reception employee. After a lengthy wait, I was informed that the room wasn't ready and they didn't have an expected time but said they would text me. The air conditioning in the room didn't work but thankfully it was a cool period and opening windows allowed us to get the room below 80. Upon check out, the hotel attempted to tack on additional charges; after explaining the rules (for Hilton Honors use of points/credit) they removed the charges. The 'resort' itself shows its age; if one is looking for a real resort look elsewhere.

Breakfast buffet has anything you would hope for. Room was clean and quiet. Giselle and Adrian went above and beyond when I realized left my Earpods. They immediately sent staff to my room, secured the device at the desk and son was able to pick up later the same day. High touch personal service and follow up. Thanks Embassy Suites Scottsdale.
