Was a nice place, grandkids loved it especially the pool. Was a little big and noisy for me but nice staff. Lots of food to choose from. The weather was great and we had a lot of fun exploring. Rooms we...re fine and clean. Could have used some extra towels.

TRASH! I’m here now and since we walked in earlier today, I have regretted this booking. Don’t come here. The beach is the ONLY thing they have going for them which is why they get 1 star. But there are MU...CH better resorts to stay at in puerto plata. The room stinks like mildew. It reminds me of a quality inn with a nice pool. Nothing is open bc its the shoulder season - BUT THEY DONT TELL YOU THAT WHEN YOU BOOK THE ROOM. They have a crap snack bar, a crap pool bar, and the worst buffet I’ve ever had. How do you ruin EVERY SINGLE DIAH?! Every one???? WHY?!? The ONLY thing edible were the desserts but I only got to sample them bc when we tried to take a small plate back to our room to have later they yelled at us and told us no. If we get hungry we can go to the snack bar and get a dry ass burger. Gtfo of here! This place is old af and low budget. Theres nothing to do - at all. And you’re far AF from puerto plata so u have to take a taxi for $40 if u dont have a car. Its a scam. Save your money, your patience, your appetite and your peace of mind and book down the road. This place can die along with whatever died in the walls and is stinking up our room. Thumbs ALL THE WAY DOWN. WORST HOTEL STAY EVER. Im going back to airbnb.
