Nice Resort - Terrible Room

The resort was nice. We enjoyed the food, service and the pools. However, our room was old, outdated and disgusting. When I booked the room it showed an updated room and that was not what we got. Also the ...housekeeping did not change sheets when asked and when they finally did change them they didn’t change the pillowcases. The drain in the bathroom make the entire room smell like sewage. It was gross.

Unsatisfied custom

I joined my family for a short stay at this resort, with the intention of paying for day passes and night passes as I would be sharing their room for a few days. Before arriving in Puerto Vallarta, we call...ed the resort (with GREAT difficulty)to confirm the cost of these passes. We were given a rate and planned accordingly. Upon arrival, I purchased a day pass. Later that evening, at 6 PM when my day pass ended, I returned to the lobby to get a night pass. This is when we learned that the price quoted over the phone was inaccurate. Although frustrating, we accepted it, as we didn't have much choice. At that point, we were informed of an alternative option: being added to the room for a set rate, which would cover both day and night access and eliminate the need to purchase separate passes each day. However, since I had already paid for a day pass that same day, we reasonably expected the cost of that pass to be applied towards the room fee. Unfortunately, the resort refused. Despite speaking with the manager and explaining the situation, they would not make any adjustments. In fact, they acknowledged the policy was unfair but insisted it was the only option. As a result, we ended up paying double for one day — once for the day pass and again for the “added to the room” fee — with no willingness on their part to make things right. The takeaway is this: the information we received over the phone was inaccurate, and the resort did not honor it. When we were charged twice for the same day, they refused to take any action to correct the situation. This experience left us feeling taken advantage of and extremely dissatisfied. The lack of accountability and poor customer service was very disappointing

Great beach service

Angela took care of us on the beach. We were never left without service. We were brought drinks and snacks with a smile. We would recommend this to all. We dosed off and our drinks we’re waiting for us, su...per service. Greg and Angela from Vancouver Canada

Fun Friendly Resort with Amazing Staff

We had the most incredible service. We were lucky to have Angela serving us around the pool with a fun and friendly bartending staff supporting her. The restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming, and th...e Entertainment team were amazing.

Ok resort but would look elsewhere!

The resort was decent and the staff was great but I would not go back there. The food was not good at all at the buffets. It was the same food pretty much every night with a few added veggies or fish to th...e dish. Not much flavor at all. However if you are able to get a reservation for the restaurants those meals were pretty good. But if you are not able to get reservations at a restaurant you are stuck eating at the buffet. I would rate the food overall a 4/10. The beach was terrible….could not swim or walk right out front of the resort. Had very big rocks and was not sandy. The sand that was there hurt your feet to walk in. However if you go down the beach either direction just a little ways the beach was much better and sand was softer. I never saw one person in the water out front of our resort. Evening entertainment was sub-par…nothing too exciting. Been to other resorts and entertainment was definitely better. Out of the 6 nights there we stayed and watched Karoke one night otherwise entertainment was nothing special. Spoke with many people at the resort and many were also disappointed in the food. I should mention lunch was the same thing everyday as well….down by the ocean was hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos and fries for an option. And then at the buffet was sub sandwich grilled up everyday and the same side dishes.
