Please note the following renovation schedule for Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta for 2024 and 2025
January 09, 2025 – March 15, 2025: Lobby area furniture and decor renovations. Setup to be done during the night, not affecting guest experience.
August 26, 2024 – February 15th, 2025: Renovation of roof structure walkways. Please note there are two walkways to connect to the main building, only one walkway will be closed, and guests will not be affected.
April 28, 2025 – November 15, 2025: New Italian restaurant concept at Melanzanne. Italian restaurant with alternative menu will be offered temporarily at a different location with a fantastic Pacific Ocean view.
January 12, 2025 – February 21, 2025: Pickleball Courts reconditioning. Both pickleball and half-basketball courts activities will be unavailable during this time.
January 12, 2025 – June 01, 2025: Improvement of existing emergency stairs at North Tower. Clearly marked and signposted pathways to the two available stairs will be in place during this period. Some noise and dust may occur in specific areas.
April 01, 2025 - December 15, 2025: North Tower elevators renovation. Noise and vibrations may be expected in focused areas of this tower during specific timing (10am-6pm).
May 01, 2025 – August 31, 2025: Improvement of existing emergency stairs at Club Tower. Noise and vibrations may be expected in focused areas of this tower during specific times (10am-6pm).
April 01, 2025 – August 01, 2025: Renovation work and new bridal suite for Vitamar Spa. Isolated areas will be unavailable during this time. Heavy noise and vibrations may be expected during specific times (10am-6pm).
April 01, 2025 – June 15, 2025: Casa Grande Palm Roof renovation. The restaurant will remain open during this time. All work will be carried out in sections and isolated to ensure minimal disruption and protect the guest experience during operating hours.
Please note these plans are subject to change, and the dedicated hotel crew is working diligently to minimize disruptions throughout the renovation period.

Hyatt Ziva PV - Great Experience!

Our first time at the Hyatt Ziva and it did not disappoint. The beach is completely private and stunning. We even saw a Humpback mom cruzing along the shore behind her playful calf. By inclusive everythi...ng was covered, except a few specials like lobster. We ate in all the restaurants enjoying Italian, Japanese, Steaks, and of cource tasty Mexican dishes. Of note was Indra, the Italian restaurant manager, who went out of her way to be helpful. Then there was Jose at the beach service and many more. The room we booked had floor to ceiling glass facing the ocean and was a good size with king bed and sofa. The decoration is a few years old but suitable for the vibe of the hotel and no complaints. Tip. Try to book your dinners on arrival. If a reservation is not availible then try 'go show' as we were regularly seated regardless of reservation status. Enjoy!
Entertainment Hyatt Ziva 2025!!!!!

We stayed at the Hyatt Ziva in Puerto Vallarta during our Canadian spring break in March 2025. My wife and I had an amazing time. The seafood was amazing, and all the restaurants were clean, as well the ...hotel was spotless. But something that really stands out during our holiday was the way that we were treated by the entertainment manager Mr. Alberto Medina and his competent and engaging entertainment staff including Joycelyn, Lupita, Scarlett, and Alexandria. Throughout our stay they made us feel like we were all one big happy family, and we participated actively in all the events, which Included volleyball blackjack, poker, swimming and pool games, bean bag toss, and tequila tasting just to mention a few. As well like to mention, Stephani, a Captain in the Blaze and Mexican restaurants for her amazing spirit and excellence in customer service, Erica in our daily buffet for her beautiful smile and courteous mannerism. Gabriella at the front hotel desk for all her guidance, and a special thanks goes out to Hugo our Air Canada Vacation representative for all his knowledge and guidance and assistance with our ATV tour, our tequila tour, and visiting downtown Puerto Vallarta. Alberto also planned many evening events such as an amazing acrobatic show, a cabaret show, singing groups called the “Dreams” and a fire show, Karaoke. In essence every night there were different activities to keep everybody entertained. We will return again next year, because of Alberto Medina and his entertainment staff.
