Wonderful vacation with few complaints

Every morning I was greeted with a smile by Alma the towel lady when we exchanged our towels. The hotel was well maintained and service was fantastic at both the pool and restaurants. Entertainment at th...e pool and at night was fantastic (hat tip to Carlos, the entertainment manager and his entire team). Breakfast, lunch, and snacks were always good but dinners were generally not, except Frida, the Mexican restaurant. The steakhouse was generally inedible, Italian was slightly better. Zen was decent. We had a very long day travelling in and yet we still got the hard sell rhe minute we walked in for excursions and a “discount” trip to an island which was a sales pitch for a time share or something similar. Even when we said no they kept adding in perks (“free massage”). Also, the “discount” on stuff ($1400 in discounts but that’s only a percentage off list price) was some very fuzzy math- it seemed scummy. My only other complaint, which is similar to other hotels in Mexico is that the beds are too small. Even my children (10/12) felt cramped, so imagine how tight it was for my wife and I. Please, give us at least a full or queen.
Hard Rock Vallarta Vacation!

Wonderful trip to Hard Rock Vallarta! We enjoyed hanging poolside and spending the day in the cabana on the beach. The staff were so accommodating to whatever we asked- special shoutout to Rolon who is the... friendliest and coolest server around. Entertainment staff were great too- Georgia and Reid were so fun! Fer at Frida restaurant was great!
