We just spent a week at the occidental Nuevo Vallarta and had a wonderful time the food and drinks are delicious and the service excellent. The resort is well maintained and clean.Special thanks to the entertainment crew for making it such a great time Jesus Carlos Ava and Rosalita would definitely return in the future

My wife and I had a nice long stay at the Occidental (10 days). It is a very nice hotel. Well kept and clean. The staff are courteous and professional. To highlight a few: Francis Gomez, (reception) Rosalia, Eva, Jesus, Carlos (entnmt). It is a great feeling when they call you you by name each time you meet. It is located in a quiet area near the marina. The hotel is very nice. The beach/sand are ok, but not "picturesque". I would have given it 5 stars but the food in the restaurants is good, not great. The service at all restaurants and buffet is great. The rooms are a good size and kept quite clean. A short drive from the airport. Would I return again, yes. Nice hotel to visit to just relax and enjoy some down time.

René, Oscar, Lizabeth, keila, lvette, valevla was amazing these people made our trip! Will be coming back just for them! My finance had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back to see this property. Hopefully these people will be here again, and I can enjoy once more!

The place was great. Rene and Oscar and Lizbeth were the best at the first floor bar. Keila, Ivette and Valeria were also the best. I highly recommend staying here and visiting them. Also visit the pool bar if you get the chance. This was an amazing trip for two

We were very pleased with the royal junior suite with balcony. The room was huge and balcony was nice. Our mini frig was restocked daily with whatever we asked for (left a note on the bed for the maid). All staff were friendly and food was good. They are very picky about the dress code at the a la carte restaurants. Men HAD to have long pants, no exceptions. Only complaint was that there wasn't enough shade by either pool and a swin-up bar would have been nice. Drinks were good. We would try this place again.
