Great resort!!! Great Location!!

This resort was amazing from the beginning to the end. Really great experience, buffet was so good didn't have any reason to go to the a la carte dining. Wait staff were very attentive to all your needs ...in the dining buffet and the buffet was always fresh with plenty of variety for every meal. The resort was very clean everywhere as well as the grounds and pool were well maintained daily. The Aura Spa was a wonderful experience as well. Massages and pedicures were very good and professional. Special mention to Carolina, Niurka and Fiordaliza...these ladies went above and beyond to assist us!!! Every staff member throughout the resort were courteous, helpful and cheerful every day. The pool is just as good as everyone describes it!!! Plenty of clean fresh towels all day every day. Believe all the positive things you read about this place. It was flawless for our entire stay. Well done Wyndham!!

Booked this hotel a little last minute as we had to change our original plans. Read lots of reviews both here, Google and the Facebook pages which are set by travelers NOT hotel staff so be aware they aren...’t going to see comments/ questions. We did have a few worries as we were well aware the hotel had only been open for a month after a major refurbishment so we went with an open mind! Have been going to the Dominican for many years now and lots of different resorts but our needs have changed as we have an 8 year old now. This resort is easy to get around and nothing is very far so no need for the golf buggies or little trains you get at a lot of the big resorts, you can also get around under cover if needed. The Pool is just stunning! The best we have come across and perfect for children! At its deepest it was 4’10 I think. I’m sure someone mentioned it’s the longest continuous pool in Punta Cana? We booked club but probably didn’t really make full use of it as little one liked the buffet area for breakfast as she could just go off and get her own we did have lunch and dinner there 1 day and it was lovely such a great view. When we first arrived at main gate our name was on arrival list so transfer took us to main reception where we were immediately transferred to little buggy for club check in which was very quick and a tasty cocktail provided. Staff here are wonderful everyone greets you and a special mention to the Kids Club girls ( Criseida, Vicky,Altagracia,Yeiles) who made my little girls holiday, she can be very shy but they made her so comfortable and welcome! Food was great, plenty of variety, Staff were very attentive, sometimes a little too much maybe? I had 3 hovering one morning to clear up after me! But that’s just my opinion, you also are greeted each time you enter the Buffet and you have to give room number and wait to be seated which if you just want to nip in and grab an extra little something is a little uncomfortable! Haha. Coffee Place is amazing and the ladies there are very good! You can also pick up little snacks from there, just a request from my little girl it would be great if you can get ice cream from some where other than the buffet as we very often fancied one but it’s only available there? Could maybe put it at one of the snack places as well? We had an issue on our 2nd to last day with a leaky toilet but 1 call to reception and it was fixed within an hour or so, we didn’t need to hang around or them either. As mentioned earlier the hotel had only just reopened so there were some teething issues… one of them being the Sunbed/shade issues! The early morning towel game was strong here!! But they were obviously listening to the grumbles from guests as they started to remove any that hadn’t been used for a period of time and it was mentioned in the daily paper. But please hotel peeps if you do read these comments you have a beautiful pool area and beach with soooo much space just put out some more shade and beds and palapa on the beach and problem solved. Once the water park opens this will take the hotel to a whole other level and it’s so nearly ready! It looks amazing! My other half was in the Gym every day which he said was great and stocked well. Would we return to this hotel-YES if we decided to go back to somewhere that we’d been before but we tend to always try different places.
