This was our second visit to this property - but the first since it was taken over by Wyndham. It did not disappoint. The property is absolutely stunning. We lucked out - there were probably less than 200 ...guests on the property while we were there. The pros: *The staff is so kind and respectful. Always so helpful. Shout out to Ana in the VIP concierge and Pedro from the Activities team. *The property is immaculate and gorgeous. *The rooms are a good size - beds are super comfy. *Price is hard to beat. The cons: *Food was ok. Not great. *Not sure the club upgrade is worth the money. *Disappointing that there was a charge for wine other than house wine. While the hard liquor, beer, and basic wine was free, if you wanted anything else you had to buy a bottle. *Sometimes it felt a bit like there was always an "upsell". We went to the spa, and they were pushing their products on us afterwards. A little upsetting when you've already spent $250. Will we go back? Probably. Hint: Don't rely on public taxis. We booked a driver ahead of time through the hotel. They were waiting for us at the airport and were courteous, good drivers.

From the moment you walk into the hotel you get the wow experience. This hotel been open for about 2 months now. The check in with Luiggi at front desk was very easy, Elias who took our luggage to our room... was great and informative. The room was clean and had everything we needed, the refrigerator was re-stocked daily. The bed and pillows very comfortable, bathrobes were handy, the view from the balcony was pool and part ocean, just beautiful. We were in building #3 which was great as it was in the middle distance to everything. You can get to the swimming pool from almost anyplace as it runs a long all the buildings. We ate at Brasas restaurant only one time, food and service, so, so, maybe because the hotel was so crowded that day. You don't need reservations, but you need to find out which one will be open as they alternate. Did I mentioned the Buffet at the Ventanas? We ate everyday at Ventanas because the buffet had everything you can imagine and tasty and great service. Food was delicious and fresh, seafood, meat, veggies . Breakfast, they have omelet station, pancakes, crepes, by the way the omelet is made with fresh eggs, cracked in front of you, not the liquid eggs they use at other hotels. Other thing they have that you don't find often at other hotel buffet is plenty bacon and butter. The Staff is fantastic at Ventanas, at the omelet station Mr. Ramon, serving tables Mr Lech, Mr Michael and the best of all Ms Mirelys Peres, that always serve you with a great beautiful smile and give you information about their food. If you don't see something you want, just ask and they will try their best to get it for you. At the Coco bar by the beach, Mr Starlin happy and a big smile and Ms Fatima making amazing drinks. Plenty lounges by the pool and beach, over Saturday and Sundays is crowded, but you still manage to find a spot. Monday thru Thursday the place is very peaceful as there are not that many guest. The ocean is very nice and clear At the cappuccino station outside Ventanas restaurant, Ms Estafany is always ready to help. No bothersome timeshare people around. You have to try this hotel, I hope it stays as nice and with great staff for a long time, we will be back next year. You can do many activities or do nothing and lay back like we did. May is the best time. Enjoy!!

I am fortunate to have been able to enjoy this resort in March with my daughters, April with my youngest and May with a beautiful family from the Dominican that was able to join me. Although my stays were ...short each was relaxing and I enjoyed many aspects. An amazing stay from the time we arrived to the time we left! It reopened in March under Wyndham and they did a beautiful job with the renovations and staffing. Check in/out is very easy and stress free. Warm welcome when you arrive and truly friendly staff as you enjoy your stay! Food: we enjoyed the restaurants including the buffet as well as the snack areas (one near beach and one by pool) Beach: blue and beautiful. I did not spend much time,but it was clean and so tranquil listening to the waves and looking out at the sea. Pool: so many areas to enjoy, it’s quieter the closer you go to the lobby and great music near the swim up bar. Activities: so many always happening. The entertainment team has a variety to offer for all different interests. Crafts, volleyball, Zumba and many others! Drinks: cold, delicious and unlimited House keeping: friendly and respectful. Eager to help! Shows: a must see! Music at 8 sets the tome for a wonderful evening of events. When we arrived I was greeted by the staff and they took my bags to the Preferred lounge for Check in. Ariadi one of my all time favorites checked us in each time. His English is wonderful and he is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He does not disappoint! If I could recognize all of the staff I would, there are far too many to name but here are some of my favorites, •Eduarda at breakfast in the buffet was delightful and attentive. •Pablo and Christian at the Italian restaurant. They also were attentive at breakfast Pablo at the buffet and Christian at Preferred breakfast. •Angel buffet made sure i felt welcome and had coffee. •From the kids club Yeilys was sweet and wonderful with the little ones. •Claribel at lounge prefered bartender makes amazing drinks and her smile and sincerity was appreciated. •Pedro at entertainment works tirelessly to make everyone happy. You should water Zumba with him. All of entertainment make people relax and enjoy all day and again in the evenings •Jordano, Ramon and Cristofer dancing and work endlessly day and night. •Adolfina makes wonderful drinks while listening to music and •Wanda and Nagum at pool bar kept my drinks coming with smiles and they were fantastic. •J. Carlos DJ knew just what songs to play and a good volume and good vibes! •Gustavo lifeguard always a hand on his heart and warm greeting. •Alexander the bell boy a great smile and wonderful conversation. •Juan Carlos and Edgar supervisors of the bar Made sure each day we were happy with our service. •Ana B in Preferred lounge is quiet but polite and is quick to help when you need something. Every single worker I mentioned smiled consistently. They continuously made sure we had what we needed and worked tirelessly to make sure our vacation was relaxing and enjoyable! I will return as often as I can!! I appreciate them tremendously and thank them for their hard work to make our vacation incredible. I highly recommend

I recently visited this resort and I can tell that this is a highly recommended spot to stay for couple days to relax. The staff was friendly and helpful with guests. The place was clean, the food was good... and varied. The pool is clean and it goes all through the hotel. The only thing I can say is the musical shows at night need to adapt to the new times. I feel it gets stuck into the 70’s and 80’s otherwise it was just the same thing I’ve seen in other places in Bávaro.

Our best vacation ever! I recommend this Hotel 100%, especially for Families with kids 10 yrs +, there are so many activities , beach volley, pool volley, pool Zumba, eating competition, and many more. S...taff of Entertainment was very Friendly and inviting Guests to be part of the activities, i would like to mention a few excellent staff members , Ander and Wilbin they were just amazing!! We loved you guys!! The Food is amazing in the Buffet as well as in the Restaurants, especially the Restaurants Brasa (Brasilian Grill) Besides you dont have to make reservatiins for any restaurant, you just go and eat. I recommend Rooms in the Club Area for a more complett expierience averall. Rooms are cleaned every day and beds are cozy and soft. Beach was also great! Clean and warm Water all the time during our week of stay . Couldnt ask for more, we had a blast and we will always remember this vacation being perfect for us.
