This hotel is paradise. From the moment you step off the coach you know you are in luxury and the staff make you feel individually special as a guest of theirs. Rooms are spacious and modern. All amentities needed are within. The TV can be temperamental yet who goes to Mexico to watch TV. Some shows aren’t as good as expected however the magic show was very good and I would strongly advise to pay for the Origen show. It was excellent. Food wise, buffets can be a bit samey samey as with any other hotel restaurants. The great thing here is you get an a’la carte for each 2 nights of your stay so we had 5. Whilst the Mediterranean was a little disappointing, it the other 4 we went to were top notch. Teppenyaki - very good food and experience however found the restaurant to be very hot: Tahli (Indian) - excellent food and service. Gran tortuga (Brazilian Rodizio grill) - all I can say is WOW. Leave an empty stomach for this one. The meats are to die for. Tequila (Mexican) - again great food and fun staff. Could do with some authentic Mexican music but that is just a small detail and takes nothing away from the great night had here. The pools have plenty of beds, bars nearby and are very clean. We had the misfortune of being there when hurricane Beryl hit but what I will say is the planning of the hotel was amazing and the work then put in to the clear up after was so dedicated to ensuring the hotel remained the luxury it was before the storm. We were in lockdown in the room during the storm and it felt very safe. All rooms have hurricane shutters so aside from the loud volume of the storm, we had no worries. We were even provided food boxes for each guest given there was no idea when we would be permitted to vacate the room in the morning or if the buffet would be open: The staff here are so friendly and treat you well regardless of if you tip or not.

Excellent staff and service, lots to do, entertainment team were brilliant! Amazing reaction to the hurricane and service back to normal in a day! Very well done!! Spacious clean rooms. Reasonable quality food with speciality restaurants- we recommend the Japanese & Peruvian restaurant for taste (nouvelle cuisine) & service, and the steak restaurant for meat lovers- come hungry!
