The Amstar staff member Omar Tripp was great. Among all the other excursions available, He helped my group of 7 people plan a deep sea fishing excursion. He was very thorough in every detail of or trip. H...e scheduled our transportation from the resort to the marina and back. We had a great time and caught plenty of fish, which were cleaned for us by the boats crew and cooked for us once we got back on land. It was a great adventure, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to experience a good time.

We had our wedding at Iberostar Quetzel and it was nothing but amazing. Nayeli and her team made everything so easy for us. The wedding day went perfectly, everything was scheduled properly and we couldn't... have been happier. The resort itself was so beautiful, pictures don't do justice. We really wanted to stay at a place that had a jungle theme to it with animals all around and that's exactly what we got. The night time with the bridges and pretty lights felt so magical. It's nice that it was a bit of a quieter resort, we slept really well every night. It was so easy to get a taxi in and out of the resort and easy commute to Playa del Carmen. You could even walk around Playa Car, which was really nice. I can see why it's a 5 star resort.
