I cant say enough wonderful things about this resort! This was my 3rd time at the moon palace. I went the 1st time for my honeymoon 20yrs ago and stayed at sunrise, last year came back and stayed again at ...sunrise. This year went as a mother daughter trip and stayed at nizuc. Each time was an awesome trip. The resort itself is stunning! It's extremely clean, the food and drinks are amazing! But the best part of the resort is the staff! They are so accommodating and truly make staying there so pleasurable! Last year my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visits to swing bar and the bartender Rueben was fantastic. This year my daughter and I had the pleasure of having a server from the restaurant asadero during the lunch hours named Josue Pineda...and he literally made us feel like family! He gave excellent recommendations on good food and drinks. He was absolutely the best! We definitely plan on coming back soon!

Rooms, Restaurants, Entertainment, Bars very good, young crowd. Went there for the golfing, lots of water so bring extra balls. Arrived at night, BIG place, can get lost the first night but eventually you ...find your way around.

I am providing an honest review of The Moon Palace! The ride from the airport to the Moon Palace was a 10-15 minute ride! They provided transportation to and from. We stayed at the Sunrise for 5 nights! ...Upon arriving at the resort we were greeted and our bags were tagged until our room became available. I received a carnation which was a nice gesture. We were offered mimosas/ water while checking in. We were able to do a 90 min presentation and received two day passes to the Grand! The restaurants at the Sunrise and the Grand were amazing! The main lobby bar has the best bartender / mixologist name Victor!! We kept going back for signature drinks! Our family are great tippers!! The highlight of our experience at the Grand resort would be the spa day and therapy pool! Amy provided a great stone massage! She was very professional and polite! The speakeasy was nice and chill! The lobby to lobby bus driver Miquel was so hilarious we enjoyed riding on his bus from Sunrise to the Grand and back!! Santiago was another driver on the carts we had a fun experience with! Laying poolside at the Sunrise and/ Grand was very relaxing! Overall, first time experience was a good one! UPGRADES to be done! The rooms can use diffuser oils to be added since a diffuser is located in each room! Some of the linen can be upgraded along with the pillows! The poolside at the Sunrise could use some upgraded lounge cushions! They were dirty and stained! Maybe an annual recycling of new cushions! We would love to return and maybe have a free night or two stay at the new resort in Punta Cuna!

We stayed at Moon Palace for 5 nights at Sunrise but had day pass access to The Grand. Let’s start with the positives: Victor, the bartender at The Grand lobby bar, was AMAZING—hands down the best bartend...er at the resort! The spa at The Grand was also an unforgettable experience and a definite highlight of our trip. All of our meals were delicious; we didn’t have a single bad one during our stay. We dined at restaurants across both Sunrise and The Grand and were consistently impressed with the quality and variety. Areas for improvement: While the spa experience was great, the staff could benefit from better training in guiding guests through the process. It was unclear where to go and what to do next, which caused some confusion. Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms and pools at Sunrise could use improvement. Attention to detail in these areas would have elevated our overall experience.

I did a workout class with Luis and it was great! He was encouraging and made it simple and easy to complete the exercises. It was a nice way to start my day on vacation. If you’re staying here be sure to ...check it out it’s worth your time for sure! Thank you!
