Best Wedding Experience Ever!

My daughter had her wedding her and all details were perfect! All of our guests enjoyed all the amenities, all the restaurants were delicious and our rooms were quiet and comfortable. Sarahi, our wedding planner was so great to work with, and took care of everything. We were a little nervous not being there to work on the details, but, she's a pro and took care of it all! From the wedding location to the food, flowers, lighting, it could not have been nicer! Highly recommend this resort!
A Beautiful Resort That Could Do Better

Secrets Akumal was a beautiful resort and the staff and level of service were wonderful. We were there for my son's wedding and the waiter that we had during the reception was Timoteo and he was absolutely exceptional. We had a fantastic experience at the Seaside Restaurant on multiple occasions with Saul, who was also wonderful, helpful and friendly. The food at the breakfast buffet was great and the seafood lunch buffet at Oceana was incredible. The quality and consistency of the food at Bordeaux and Portofino were adequate and less than what we expected. We really expected a higher standard and consistency of the food from a resort of this caliber and price point. The swim up pool bar was super fun and cool. Manuel was our primary bartender there and he was super friendly, fun and provided a great experience. The quality of the tequila at the pool swim up bar could have been better. Our group of family and friends loved hanging out in the pool and at the swim up bar. Overall, we had an amazing time at Secrets Akumal and would recomend it to others. The issues that we experienced were minor, but certainly make me think that I want to try a different all inclusive resort if we go back to the area again and compare. If the minor issues that we had were addressed, I think that we would 100% go back here without looking elsewhere.
