Beautiful place with one of the worst room service.

All the good stuff is already written in other reviews. The staff (Especially our Concierge for being caring, Thank you), the landscape, the beach, the snorkel, the turtles...all amazing. The reason why it's 4 starts in stead of 5 is... 1: They need to improve their room service. Hot items come cold. If you are lucky, it'll show up somewhat warm. And most of the foods weren't good through room service. They aren't as flexible as other properties such as Secrets Maroma or even other less expensive properties. My husband got violently ill here and he ended up in ER one day. The following day, he needed lots of drinks with electrolytes. When we called room service for them, they said "We can only send two at a time." He was sick in bed, I was exhausted from a lack of sleep... the last thing I wanted to do is to keep calling for room service and wait for 30-45 min for sports drinks just because they can send them only two at a time. When I explained about his situation, the person on the phone said "Only this time." Which I replied with "If you need to make me feel like you are doing me a favor, don't even do it." The room service is just simply one of the worst I've ever experienced in Mexico All-Inclusive. Oh, I also can't eat cilantro but their guacamole has cilantro in it. That's totally fine and I wouldn't expect them to make one just for me. But they weren't even willing to slice up an avocado. "Can't do it" was their response. oh well. 2: They need to stop wasting 15 min of guest's time upon arrival...aka sales pitch. I get it. It's their job. Keep it quick and ask us if we would be interested in hearing the pitch upon check-in and allow us to say no at that point so that we don't have to sit and wait and then listen to the sales pitch only to say no thank you at the long speech.

The best service of a lifetime. The staff was so friendly and helpful it was hard to believe. We will absolutely return!!! Thanks for Everything. Highly recommend for young and old people. Plenty of things to do. Weather is exactly the same everyday!!!
