Following American Hotel & Lodging Association's (AHLA) recent announcement of its "Safe Stay Guest Checklist"—and following medical expert guidance to help reduce the spread of COVID-19—all Hyatt hotels in the U.S. and Canada will require face coverings within indoor public areas beginning Monday, July 27, for the foreseeable future.
Public areas may include hotel lobbies, meetings and events spaces, restaurants and bars, and fitness centers. Some guests may be exempt from this mandate, including but not limited to guests with medical conditions, guests consuming food or beverages in restaurants, and children under the age of 2.

Great place to stay, but beware of some staff members when asking about accommodations and services provided. Especially 17TH FL. Access. Make sure you are clear on what is or is not provided. No room service at this particular hotel seems to be the new thing at certain hotels. Some staff members can be a bit aloof.

We only stayed a night and upgraded to the regency club, the breakfast and the evening spend with beer and wine made that upgrade well worth it!
