Great hotel...very clean, comfortable with an excellent and professional staff. The facility is a great place to hold business meetings, trainings, conferences and conventions. Has an abundance of interesting places to visit and shop. Highly recommended for business and family vacations.

Room is beautiful and absolutely clean, good equipped although small. We were lucky, we got a sea view room. The Hotel is stunning and modern. The location was also great, fast and easy access to public transportation, cable car and it is a very touristy area. If you do not have plans, you can only go for a walk along the boulevard on Embarcadero, with many restaurants and nice view. The Hotel only permit to pay with credit cards, I used mine for some purchases, thus I had to pay part of the invoice (around 40%) with my maestro card but it was not possible. Restaurant is expensive, but in general all of San Francisxo is!!! Good service, and the staff was friendly. We would come back!!

Hotel is nice, great location, but service needs to up leveling to be at par with other Hyatt Regency locations. Room wasn't ready even after waiting 2 hrs, mildewy shower curtains, water bottles required tickets are just a few examples that make a difference.

Stay at the Hyatt Regency at Embarcadero in San Francisco if you possibly can. It will make your visit to this lovely city magical. Consider purchasing a hop on- hop off double decker bus ticket at the concierge desk to see all the places you want to visit & then return to this outstanding hotel to rest & relax.

This is my third time staying at this Hyatt because I really like the location and the rooms are newly redone. Unfortunately on this occasion, I found the room to be dirty. The floor in the bathroom had someone else’s hair on it. When I got in and was in a rush to get ready for an event, so wiped it down myself with a towel- and you can see the resulting dirt and hair in the photo. It’s evident the room wasn’t properly cleaned. I also found someone else’s dirty socks in the closet (also pictured) when I went to unpack. This is really unfortunate based on how new the hotel rooms are and how great the location is. I would definitely inspect your room to make sure it’s clean before settling in.
