My husband & I visited St. Lucia for our Honeymoon the beginning of May. We chose this destination as we have heard nothing but good things. Unfortunately, we didn’t have such a great experience staying ...at Sandals Regency La Toc. Upon booking, we booked the Emerald Honeymoon Hideaway Suite room. About two weeks prior to our visit, we upgraded our room to the Sunset Bluff Oceanview WO room. To start, we took the shuttle offered by Sandals from the airport to the resort. If you get motion sickness definitely opt into taking the helicopter or ferry. The driving down here is no joke…I held my breath for majority of the drive due to the erratic driving. Upon our arrival to Sandals, we were greeted with champagne and began the check in process. The staff advised that our room was ready all within 20 minutes & we were on our way to our room….only it wasn’t the sunset bluff room…it was the original room we booked (Emerald Honeymoon Hideaway). We made sure to let the sandals employee know that this was incorrect & we upgraded to the sunset bluff room. We then were brought back to the main lobby, club sandals check in area. We notified the employees in club sandals of the incorrect room & they advised that our sunset bluff room is being cleaned as we speak. My husband and I waited a LONG 2 hours and 30 minutes in the lobby until we finally were brought to the sunset bluff room that had NO working A/C. Another sandals employee came to our room shortly after & apologized, assuring us that she would be moving us to a more comfortable room in the Coubaril Building, which is directly behind the butler suites. We were very grateful to say the least & happy to finally be in a room with our luggage. The restaurant & bar staff at Sandals are not the friendliest to say the least. They acted as if we were forcing them to be at work. No smiles or asking how we’re doing. No one asking if we needed anything by the pool (besides the people with butlers). It all felt not personal & like we were a bother to them. I’ve been to many resorts other than sandals & many all inclusive resorts, I came in with high expectations (especially for the price that was paid…$7k) but was quickly disappointed. I received better service & friendlier attitudes at resorts I paid less than half the price for. The food was, to be blunt, horrid. It tasted like warm hospital food with no flavor. The alcoholic drinks were either inconsistent or made incorrectly. Again, for spending $7k on this trip, I expected way more. Overall, I am not thrilled with Sandals La Toc & will not be returning to St. Lucia for this reason. Save your money & choose a better destination.

It was our first time at a sandals resort for our honeymoon and my husbands first time out of the country and we had the best experience! Our butlers, Amos, Shanna, and Fernella were the absolute best! The...y helped us with any questions we had. They were always friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of our time here. They made everything so easy for us! Definitely will be requesting them when we come back; if we can! It was nice to see how everyone seemed to know each other and created a good work environment. It really made an impact on our great time here to see staff laughing with each other and being positive. Our room was always clean and had the nicest housekeeping staff as well! We ate at Kimonos and had Myers as our chef and Sharon as our server, who were both absolutely amazing. Myers kept us entertained and cooked our food to perfection. Definitely a must visit restaurant when staying there. We spent a lot of time at the swim up bar/pool by the sunset bar and the staff was great as well. They made the best drinks and made sure we were well taken care of! Dinner under the stars is also a must do! The steak and lamb chops were wonderful! Very romantic for any special occasion! We didn’t do a lot of excursions, but the resort satisfied all of our relaxation needs! Overall, I think we made the right choice picking Sandals La Toc!

My husband and I loved our stay at the La Toc in April 2025! The front desk host Fiona upgraded our room to a beautiful view! Our housekeeper Mary made our room beautiful and decorated it for our stay. Tra...vis (bow tie man) waited on us every time we saw him and told us about the island and its people. John the pool bartender was efficient and kept us waiting only 10 seconds max! Mekhi was very fun and always assisted us by the pool. Valda was so fun and cool and made the best drinks! Others who we loved were Melvin, John, and Nigel! La Toc is a great place to stay and if you are worried about too crazy of a party, you don’t need to worry here! There is just enough. Food is 8/10, drinks are great! View is beautiful with the ocean being very easy to navigate.

Great experience in terms of food and bar service. The staff are amazing especially Amanda and Share. Their work ethic are exceptional. This will be my second time here visiting the resort and second time ...in saint Lucia. We stayed over at the grande but spend most of our time at la TOC. The food was amazing. We came across the bar manager Aaron. He went above and beyond in terms of our needs. We will be thrilled to come back to la TOC again hopefully Amanda, Share and Aaron is still around. Cons The beach bums are very Irritatable. They keep on asking us if we wanna buy drugs. Entertainment was a bit medicine Came across some unpleasant staff and those that dont smile.

Visited for our honeymoon and paid for the butler service. It was truly magical. The rooms were always cleaned and refreshed and little moments made for us that elevated our vacation experience. Definitely... recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape.
