Great hotel! Convenient to cruise ship terminal

Fantastic experience! Desk staff are very friendly. We stay here on front and back end of a cruise. Easy walk to cruise terminal and train station to airport. Hotel is super clean! Water filling... stations in each floor are helpful. Highly recommend. As others have mentioned, go up the side street for an easier access if rolling luggage. Maps app will send you to the entrance with only steps.
Excellent location!

I came for business in November and this was the host hotel for the event. The hotel itself is clean and quite beautiful. The rooms are lovely and the location is absolutely fantastic to anything downtown.... I arrived later in the evening and asked when I checked in around 9:30 if I could still get something to eat at the restaurant. They said yes until 10. Unfortunately just a heads up they actually mean 9:45 or the kitchen is closed. The reception desk was kind enough to call me in my room and offer to make me something to eat so I truly appreciated that. Unfortunately, I couldn’t figure out how to get a hold of the front desk again so I ended up just eating nuts in my bag, as well as the cookie that I received when I got there. (which was excellent by the way.) It’s a good central location and as always, Marriott doesn’t disappoint .
Great staff, quiet rooms

Well done folks! Our second stay at this property. Your staff is friendly, efficient and anticipatory. The rooms are clean and spacious. Room design - the suite with the sliding bedroom door and wall t...hat doesn't go to the ceiling - It's fine for a single guest, but any noise from the restroom or living room carries if a second guest sleeps in. Nice kitchenette in this suite however. Location is close to the LRT, downtown and Gastown. Good food and service in the restaurant; lots of coffee spots nearby. See you next time!
Meh! Underwhelming

My recent stay at Delta Suites Vancouver left me disappointed and underwhelmed. I stayed on the 21st floor, where my room had a deck that might be nice in the summer, but during the winter, it’s just waste...d space. It made the room feel cramped and awkward, with little room for anything else. The decor throughout was drab and lacked any character—very plain and not appealing at all. Immediately outside the hotel, you have to contend with numerous homeless individuals, some of whom aggressively panhandle, which adds an uncomfortable experience as you enter and exit. The breakfast was once a highlight of staying here, but they’ve changed the menu, and it’s now extremely disappointing with nothing that stands out or feels worthwhile. This was a sad letdown. On top of that, I had an issue with my bathroom door and had to call twice before it was finally addressed. Basic maintenance should not require multiple follow-ups. All in all, my experience was lackluster, and I won’t be coming back.
