Nice Hotel

Travelock on Jul 12, 2024

Nice hotel and good location. After two nights of no sleep asked for the air con to be checked. Maintenance man with us straight away and fixed which made huge difference. Lovely staff. Good size rooms. Central for waterfront and easy subway connections to airport.

Spacious rooms, great staff, convenient location

lebelgo (Los Angeles, California) on Jul 09, 2024

We stayed 3 nights pre-cruise and were really wowed by this hotel. The rooms are very spacious--not what one might expect for a downtown location in a city where real estate is costly. All was clean and in working order. The internet was quick and worked well. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had lunch at the ground floor restaurant. My tuna on toast wasn't cheap--but it was the best tuna sandwich I've ever had. The hotel is in front of the (very tall) Vancouver Lookout Tower, so the best views are partial, but some rooms in the 13th floor or higher will have decent mountain views. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Vancouver Place (even with luggage for a cruise), as well as the Canada Line/subway. Also within walking distance of Gastown, Chinatown, and the West End. We couldn't have picked a better hotel.

Great location

What a perfect location and comfortable rooms. I was Surprised by how quiet the room was since it was right in the middle of the city. Very helpful staff. Rooms were clean and modern, beds were very comfortable. Air conditioner was quiet. Definitely would stay here again.

Clean but expensive

Camper21578834808 (Florida) on Jun 23, 2024

First impressions were good. We stayed 2 nights before an Alaskan cruise. This hotel is about 3 blocks from the cruise terminal. The concierges were very nice and offered us bottle waters and cookies upon arrival. The room 507 was spacious and very clean. The view however really sucked. It was of a lower rooftop with some metal structure and many pigeons. I think it cost more for a higher floor but don’t remove the exacts. It was already very expensive just for this room with the crappy view. We paid $540 a night with a gov discount. Not sure how other hotels in the area compare. Overall would stay here again because of the cleanliness.

Very nice hotel!

Great hotel; lovely suite; comfy bed; delicious breakfast; separate living room area; extremely friendly staff!! The room was very quiet. Large shower and bathroom. Close to restaurants, bars. And the cruise port. Would stay here again if we're in Vancouver.
